a game where people can buy, sell  and trade furniture for bitcoin, dogecoin, etherum, litecoin etc.
a game where you can go to different rooms created by different people, where you can trade your cryptocurrencies with a tiny small amount of commission for trade (to support the creators), and then, buy furniture in a official catalog where new furnis come and go, so then a lot of furnis can be turn into rare and being sell for more or less money, trade and exchange crypto with other people without any rules of the market, or buy and sell furnis with them, for more or less price.
a cryptoWORLD mmorpg where you can withdraw your cryptocurrency to your wallet or HAVE fun creating rooms and building your own space to make parties and games.

Yes, it would be a good idea, but the MMORPG should have quality. Nice design, many different skills to practice, quests, enemies to defeat, epic cities... Only technology isn't enough, creativity and sensibility is very important when creating a game. The game can have Crypto-Currency involved, but if people think it boring or don't like it for any other reason no one will play... I have seen some people talking about projects like this, but have never gone ahead.

It is not a bad idea but from the details you given it looks like it is more like an exchanger where you can buy differ things then sell it back for another currency at a higher of lower price.
The idea of the game is very simple, you just buy some furnitures then sell it for another price. If you want to create a bitcoin MMORGP then you have to create a game related to bitcoin. Something where people can fight for things and earn rewards. I am not saying to create a game like LOL or CS:GO because that is very hard.

I suggest to create a game where people can buy different computer components(just an idea, you can change it and add different items) and fight with other players so the one who has bigger power wins the amount of bitcoin that was in game or the winners takes a region wich can be sold for bitcoin. Anyway there are a lot of things you can add and make a great game but you got to have a team for this. If you want to create something successful then you have to spend some time to make it great. Make it tk be fun and enjoyable not something only for profits.

That is a good idea but..

There are ideas like that in the past wherein the whole output was great. But what happened? Why it doesn't became a hype? Because honestly, as a gamer itself, I see it will not be hyped for those who doesn't know the idea of bitcoin. Gamers here in the community are only taking I think 10% of the whole population. Also there are no developer who are willing to risks lots of money to promote that kind of game system. It really needs lots of money so that advertisement can touched even those who aren't involved in crypto. So in the end, the project will remained an idea.

Even those gaming idea projects who held an ICO in the past didn't reached their desired target.

I'm not entirely sold on the concept, to be honest. Especially when you consider that recently people have started to stand up against microtransactions in games.

One further difficulty is that you need two very different sorts of specialties for this game to work: extensive blockchain knowledge, and game design/coding knowledge. It is difficult to find people who are knowledgeable in both. Actually, game design is arguably more important than blockchain knowledge because no matter how powerful the business model of the game is, nobody is going to play it unless it's fun.

So I think this is a bit difficult to pull off for now.

I'm familiar with a few games back by cryptocurrency, Augmentors, Beyond the Void and also there is GameCredits. There was also a recent platform that was launched called Injin or something like that but it would be good to see some games that actually accept Bitcoin as a form virtual payment and exchange.

There are games almost identical to what you're describing.

http://secondlife.com

Second life doesn't have the widespread crypto support you're describing, it only includes support for bitcoin.

Everything else you described fits it near perfectly.

If made right and by the right people, this could be a huge hit. However, there might need to be faucets for poor people.

On my experience if the game is based on  earnings (usualy this is the first thing that people see and thats basicaly the first thing that you've mentiones) it never becomes successfull just because there is more people trying to get some profit from the game than the ones that just have a good time playing it. You will 100% fail trying to combine those two options.

I think that game would target too small of an audience. Instead, what you could do is create a game that focuses on the game aspect first and then potentially adds some points or game currency that you need to buy with crypto. This offers much better profits to the creator as well.

This area is up for grabs! PM me if you're interested.

Do you know how many years will it take to be developed? Maybe it would be a good idea for those who want to start an ico and they have some knowledges about this kind of things.

If it really gets developed, it would be huge because all those gamers who really like bitcoin will really start to support this project, and who knows, maybe the design can be pretty good too.

It is just matter of times, there are tons of ico's nowadays, and maybe we are going to see one of them implementing an MMORPG soon.

As much as I would love to see something like this happen,  people would code bots for it and ruin it for the human players,  just like in every other popular MMORPG game.  I feel that due to the fact that captchas can be paid for to be solved,  that this won't work.  Still,  I would actually love being proven wrong.

How about Risto's Crypto-Kingdom? They never called for any ICO moreover got funded by sporadic players getting interested.
And some founding capital got supplied by Risto himself.
It's probably not much active since 5/2017 when the accusations thread popped up.

It depends on how is it going to be developed, and it would take some years to make a good code because you know that creating games that involves real money (bitcoin) are not easy to develop.

But it is a good idea, it seems that you have been playing a lot of videogames or maybe you saw a lot of movies lately, but yes, it is still a nice idea and maybe it can be really developed by someone it would take years and millions of dollars to be created.
Creating a blockchain inside a game is not an easy task for someone.

I think it's a good idea, people will really appreciate trading if they create a mmorpg like the one you said based on your detail i'm really excited if some developer make games like this one. It will gonna help us to trade much more easily and it will attract a lot of people who love games which will has a good impact in bitcoin.

And how about the Enjin ICO, that has been funding for an allready existing eCommerce site allready hosting lots of gaming communities, it's the bigger lever to turn. Not always trying to begin from scratch.
Your posting has made me looking up Crypto Kingdom again and it's current status. Not looking all to good. The crypto currency part isn't key factor, the game has to be attractive (addictive, sigh!) Somehow this Digibyte show has run stuck, too. Another clue.

Gameplay is the most important part of any game, features like cryptocurrencies don't make a game automatically better, but they can easily make game worse. If it's easy to turn a game into a source of profit, it will attract botters, and if spending real money will provide players with advantage it will turn a game into "pay to win", which is considered unfun by most players. So, it's very likely that such game won't get any mainstream attention, will have tiny playerbase and will be barely profitable for developers in best case.

So basically Sims but with cryptocurrencies as a currency?

There's alot more than the currency that decides if a MMORPG is good or not. I personally think that cryptocurrency integration in a MMORPG game like RuneScape is very good though, since I personally think that that game is very good economy-wise. Unfortunately though, a good number of MMORPGs condone real-world trading of items for real-life currencies.

The crappy thing is, this would have been great but the fees are so high that you'd have to use an altcoin. I still think it would be a great idea. Someone would really help with mass adoption this way.

That is a great idea, hope this can happen soon. I will play my ass out. LOL. I'm an MMORPG player myself so I know this could be a lot of fun.
