Agree with your suggestion, big_daddy.
There are bunches of algorithms which have a bit adjustments from Cryptonight one in order to be ASIC-resistant.
I wish Bitsum team will make final decision on algorithm switch for community.
the developer in the telegram wrote about cryptonight_lite_v7

good this algo is not listed on NH and is asic proof
hope that will fork BSM asap cause those minimal sats of value gives me a big headache

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

it is possible that this will be a modification of cryptonight_lite_v7 (something similar to algorithm used by ipbc).

Today, Bitsum fell to 5 satoshi in Stocks. exchange.
https://stocks.exchange/trade/BSM/BTC
Community need more info (should be promising ones) from Bitsum team, then they might hop on the boat again.
BITSUM rollback to 162000 blocks and fork to cryptonight lite v7
ASIC and NICEHASH - GOODBYE!!!

How to mining?
For example, use "XMR-stak" (all-in-one CPU, AMD + Nvidia GPU). https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases
Example bat file:
Code:
xmr-stak.exe --currency cryptonight_lite_v7 -o  pool.bsm.cryptopool.space:5555 -u Sm3fcJRhLUkHQPi3FqEbbyA8N7mQbNNjUeNDuFQNq8xC7wgt1BTjcgDG8ay3KtkoZU3aD9iK3LSob4R7XyHy9xtZ1DkUbrd1h -p xxx -r Rig1 -i 80

For "XMRig" https://github.com/xmrig
Example bat file:
Code:
xmrig.exe -a cryptonight-lite --donate-level 1 -o pool.bsm.cryptopool.space:5555 -u Sm3fcJRhLUkHQPi3FqEbbyA8N7mQbNNjUeNDuFQNq8xC7wgt1BTjcgDG8ay3KtkoZU3aD9iK3LSob4R7XyHy9xtZ1DkUbrd1h -p x

This rollback is because of ATTACK  on BSM network
we don't allow any stolen coins, so we have decided to roll back which is already over.

And also we quit NICEHASH and ASCI miner as well

"The main purpose of creating bitumen is to create a cryptocurency based on the decentralized messenger." I think if you do this you need to have close coordination with the social network messenger. Is it difficult to develop Bitsum around the world in countries where electronic money is not recognized?

I think,we must support the Dev since the hardfork was to protect the whole community.

Also BSM is 5 satoshi because there is at least 1 week since wallets are disabled to deposit or withdrawl because of the mandatory update.

Currently I am syncing my wallet and it's going slow but without pause.

As your wish!!
The wrong thing is that
1.You didnt annount you will hard fork to V7.
2.You didnt show the date fork to V7
3.You only show you will roolback but no reason.
4.It's your team fool us !
5.Asic miner should have right and time to move on and you take their rights.
This is coin is the worest coin I ever saw. Every coin will give full infor mation before they hard fork only you do this as your wish.

All pools have been warned that there will be a rollback.
Many of them warned about this on their website.
Also wrote about this in a telegram channel.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

The new algo, and windows wallet are a great step to the good direction.

Minning now could be a very profitable oportunity.
