It seems that all crypto currencies are now on an uptrend. Any fiat converted into crypto is booming and it seems to be a snowballing effect where more people invest and the value goes higher and higher. I believe this is because of the strong gains everyone is feeling right now and I now understand why some people think its a bubble.

But when you come to think of it, we are still early adopters right? Are there analysts who really project bitcoin or cryptocurrency value to skyrocket in the future? (aside from McAfee of course).

And everyone has Bitcoin to thank, not for the first time this year. I see all the threads talking about new ATHs for this coin and that coin, signalling the significance of this development and that piece of news or those developers... but somehow forgetting that this is all happening against the backdrop of Bitcoin and its ever higher price.

I suppose this memory loss is forgivable, since the last time alts rose along with Bitcoin was the first quarter of the year. Every other BTC ATH since then has been labelled as an alt "bloodbath".

And yes, we're early adopters still. Assuming we are all users and owners, not simply investors and traders.

With all these happening, everyone is happy of course but the happiness I hoped should not be short lived because when things are happening this way, its also time for a reflection and be ready for whatever that might happen afterwards. Its at that point that we get to know who and who is the strongest. Never be carried away with "bitcoin to reach $10000 next week" or "$15000 before the end of the year" if you are not prepared for the possibility of a crash as well.

Op, some of us started speculating this current market value of Bitcoin since June this year so it is not a surprise that our prediction came to fulfilment at this time. Before now, when Bitcoin value increase other altcoins usually decline but now as a result of the high demand not for just Bitcoin alone but crypto currency in general that both Bitcoin and altcoins are growing in value simultaneously.

Even now bitcoin is dictating the complete market, and alt's are bleeding. Perhaps the altseason will start again in 2018, because it seems that the bitcoin really is still not over.

Many analysis has said bitcoin is going to skyrocket in years to come including those that hate bitcoin growing. I think in 2018 we may get over $20,000 based on where we are now and we don't really need any financial expert to tell us this. I have been following bitcoin price since last year and I think bitcoin has a great potential to grow to the level were one bitcoin will be equal to $1,000,000 and that days is ahead.

I don’t think so, maybe the price will continue to rise until when the last Bitcoin will be mined. I have seen a lot of say that the price will likely reach a $100K price rate, but I’m not really sure of that.

Such rate is likely to be a spoiler and might make the world see bitcoin as money laundering or something similar. Well, already they are seeing it as money laundering, and some even say that the price is all speculation.

Indeed the rapid growing price is just because more people are investing in cryptos than before, but to call it a bubble is definitely not fair, somehow injustice to the cryptos and it's users. I don't count myself in the early adopters as i am in this business just from last 1.5 years, one thing more it is not necessary that you should be an early adopter to make it big in this business. To be honest very few analysts think of what you are stating, i have seen many analysts talking against bitcoin and cryptos but the good thing is every time cryptos prove them wrong.

Well you can trust the decision of big companies like CME.. because these companies invest such a big project only after hiring personal advisors and thats not just one advisor but many and the fact that they have decided to launch bitcoins future means for the future bitcoins do hold a very high scope thus I think if we aren't able to trust our gut feelings then we can go with these companies'. Yes we are early adopters but I think this is the last year you can really say that as 2018 seems to be the year of mainstream money and adoption. Also what I have found through this BTC bull run is that even if you lose BTC value in USD (or your currency) is relatively stable or goes up. Hard to be sad when you lose BTC value and gain USD value...weird concept to wrap your head around too if I am being very honest.

The only thing that scares me is what did happened to bitcoin to it reach thes current value, because i dont see anything else besides a big market manipulation into action, big miners for sure has an important role into the current value, Japan legalization has made a huge and nice impact into bitcoin as well. But why are people paying 2-5x bitcoin since besides segwit and legalization hasnt happened nothing, even understanding the other side as rare currency, like gold has becamed, and big potencial, the current value doesnt make any sense.
