So this is a decentralized financial marketplace, is it comparable to a bank in some sort?

Yes, it is comparable to a bank. In our opinion, a bank is made of 2 components; on the one hand, one component would be their users and funds. That would be our universal wallets where users can store top crypto-currencies and all ERC-20 tokens. On the other hand, the second component would be their portfolio of services that they use to make profit our of their users.  That would be our decentralized marketplace.

If so, are you in competition with other projects that want to become decentralized banks on the blockchain?

The problem with most proposals coming from Blockchain is that they are centralizing the management of the application and so on. That means that the bargaining power is still on the side of the organization. In our opinion, these sort of companies have not understood the real potential of Blockchain, which ultimately can transfer all the bargaining power to users thanks to decentralization. Not understanding this, means going back to the traditional model.

What distinguishes you from those projects?

As stated above, thanks to real decentralization we transfer the bargaining power to users and thus we are able to enrich PayPro's value proposition. Let us show an example; as we do not believe in any kind of centralization, we must allow any financial-related dApp to offer its services on our marketplace. Otherwise, there would be a centralized party which may choose decisions upon private interests. As a result of that, if a user want to hire an life-insurance, he would be able to choose among an extensive array of offers. This internal competition-model would enforce players to be more competitive and thus provide better services than competition. Still, this model does not 100% guarantee a customer-centric model. In order to achieve this, we have planned the implementation of a rating system that would allow the community to rate all suppliers. By doing this, suppliers would be forced to compete among them and thus build a customer-centric eco-system.

In a nutshell, we set us apart by using decentralization as a mean to achieve a customer-centric model.

this is a little different from the others. Paypro aims to create the first application where users can use our wallets to store tokens that represent assets and trade with them in the financial markets. this looks really cool.
