If you want to be safe don't open suspicious emails, don't open rar/zip or other packed files if they don't come from known sources, don't click on suspicious links, try to avoid torrents and porn sites. At least don't do any of that on a computer you're using for work. I have been following this advice for years.

Bitcoin can only be hacked by hackers of an individual person and not the network itself. This would be like saying "The United States Dollar Can Be Hacked" well of course, naturally, however only if we are talking about individual case-by-case basis, because no one person can steal or hack all of the US Dollars in existence, of course that is impossible and pointless because the value will go to 0 instantly.

If you want to be safe you should think like a hacker.
First, a hacker will try to hack your passwords throw trojans, malwares or anything to gain access to your computer, so, you have to use a good antivirus and never download a file from an untrusted website.
Then, a hacker can pretend to be your friend to collect as much information as possible such as birth date or best friend name. Those information can be valuable when trying to reset your passwords.
Hacking a human mind is always easier than hacking a software.

Some unscrupulous elements often set up sites or programs, where people willingly hand in their details and there're site owners, who're into the business of selling such information. For me, I think bitcoin assures the security of their users so they come up of having paper wallet etc. So in our part maybe we should think a strongest password and make sure to always logout and dont share personal info:) to prevent this kind of event.

This is pretty much a general rule for everything you do on the internet. Bitcoin can be hacked, but, not in the in way you meant. People can be hacked, that's you wanted to say.

In the cyber world anything can be hacked it depends upon the skills of the hacker. For instance Edward Snowden is very famous hacker you can get into any system but the thing is he is not a Black hat hacker. No system is safe. The safety and security of your account depends upon your care. Do not click on any line do not trust every website do not put your credentials and I will be in any digital device.

I doubt if it can ever be hacked, I mean the network is so complex and the developers are working daily to make it better, and even if its hacked the transactions would be on the blockchain, except the hackers hack the blockchain too and alter transactions

The truth is that the btc wallet security is very high however I have seen fake emails fooling you into offering you keystore files or anything that could open your wallet, beware. Also your account on the forum is very easy to be stolen.

Bitcoin can not be hacked despite the fact that there are a lot of intelligent hackers out there but the only thing that jeopardize bitcoin is human error when online or offline which literally leads to wallet been hacked.
