The mobile cryptocurrency wallet, Abra’s CEO Bill Barhydt has recently tweeted that, Abra app will support Litecoin [LTC] deposits, withdrawals, and USD wire transfers in its next update. Litecoin has passed their rigid analysis around liquidity and contract market making.
LTC is the native currency of the Litecoin blockchain which is priced around $134.99 at 6:15 AM UTC. The prices were falling at a rate of 9.47%. Litecoin is currently in the 6th position in the market with a total market capitalization of $7.6 billion.
Recently, Abra had unveiled that they are now trading 25 cryptocurrencies including Monero [XMR], NEO, NEM, Lisk [LSK], Verge [XVG] and 50 fiat currencies. Abra has announced that the latest version of the mobile application now supports more than 75 different currencies.
The users of the wallet can retain control of their private key always, and hence they do not have to worry about losing their assets if the wallet is hacked, this makes it non-custodial. Abra is an investing application with an integrated cryptocurrency wallet but not a full-fledged cryptocurrency exchange.
