If your are made 12 bitcoins from 0.01, you certainly has a strategy. I'd suggest you participate in ICO, but there is a problem - personal cap for the most hype ICO usually are very low.

I think your second idea is the best of all. Leave up to 20-30 percent in Bitcoin, and the rest of the money to buy altcoins or tokens is the best option.

I would advice you to hold 50% of your Bitcoins and would recommend you to invest the rest of your Bitcoins in various coins. Holding your Bitcoins will certainly be very profitable in the the longterm run whereas by investing, you give your Bitcoins a chance to grow in value. You may too to invest your Bitcoins in various promising altcoins.

I think you should make up a portfolio, consisted of 10-20 top coins and the rest part should be bitocins. In the way that altcoins consisted of 50% of assets, BTC other 50%.

I suggest you should hold half of the coins and rest of them either you can sell to fiat or convert them to ETH or any other altcoins which are in their early stages. Even that would give you good benefits in terms of money and no of coins will also crease gradually. So its all upto you but still I would suggest sell the bitcoins not completely but partially and rest of them you have to take a call with the options given above.
