I think you have done a great job until now. Maybe you should divide it into two. You can keep hold a half and the rest you can invest it in ALT coin. Congratulations for your great achievement. I am thinking to switching a part of my dwindling portfolio back to Bitcoin as I have seen my portfolio die by 99.55 now and have almost nothing left and maybe it is time to sell what little I have and place in Bitcoin. I would just keep it in Bitcoin for safety right now and not invest in anything else. I have lost a terrible amount of equity not having my money in Bitcoin but having kept it in altcoins.

You did well OP and was able to convert to BTC before the major downturn. It would have been "more" if you were able also to park some % of your funds in USD or USDT to preserve value and buy back bitcoin and alts now. Well done!

As for your question, I would turn half of the money into Fiat and hold the other half in Bitcoin. Now seems to be the (so far) best time to turn some money into fiat.

its up to you, you can let it grow, since it is already converted to bitcoin, the only thing you should do if its price will increase is to convert it to fiat. but if you want to make it grow, you can invest it to some altcoin that you think is good.

I believe, actually, that than any other thing to contain more than 50% in bitkoyne and split the other 50% into different altcoins, which will own the future in 2018. Enough study of the coin, before that than invest in it! In real time, the crypto-market checks volatile values, and all altcoys do not work. We need to be patient and wait until the sharks raise the price of bitcoins to the usual, in order to be profitable.

I would recommend you to invest your bitcoins in a few promising Icos ,so if they will shoot up your 12 bitcoins can be doubled or even trippled,but before investing do a serious research of the Icos to avoid scam.

its up to you, you can let it grow, since it is already converted to bitcoin, the only thing you should do if its price will increase is to convert it to fiat. but if you want to make it grow, you can invest it to some altcoin that you think is good.

With the money you earned at the moment I think you should continue to invest in bitcoin and some altcoin because sometimes the price of bitcoin as well as altcoin is low. I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

I applaud what you have accomplished, even me and others may not be able to do the same with you, better to keep the things you did in the last 6 months. Imaging begins with less money and makes it grow to 12 bitcoins. I am convinced that even investors will struggle to reach 12 btc within 6 months only with that capital. would you rather continue what you are doing.

It only means that the best thing to do is to save your coins in order to earn more profit in the future because selling your coins today is a bad idea since the market is volatile and it will still grow up even more in the future.
