You are very lucky to start small and make very big results now. I hope I also tell my story, but everyone has time. I suggest that you save at least a portion of your BTC and use the rest to invest in altcoins and ICOs that promise to buy your BTC purse

Having 12 BTC, I would hardly risk investing in any ICO. I would probably go on holding Bitcoins or exchange some of the cryptocurrency to buy several cool altcoins like Cardano and Komodo for active trading.

in my opinion, you must be able to divide bitcoin, up to 60% remain in bitcoin and 40% you enter other altcoins, such as XLM, ETH, ICO and others. I think you really have to share it. but that is only my suggestion. if it suits you, you can use my advice.

How is it going for you now? in RL value i guess you have less than you had in dec-january but i'd expect in numbers you should have doubled your btc amount?

You can invest the bitcoin you have and switch to altcoin that provides benefits even if we just let it stand. The rest you better keep the bitcoin difference you have. Maybe both ways are the safest thing to do.

Considering the options, I am diversifying in bitcoin and alts.

Congratulations for your great achievement. I am thinking to switching a part of my dwindling portfolio back to Bitcoin as I have seen my portfolio die by 99.55 now and have almost nothing left and maybe it is time to sell what little I have and place in Bitcoin. I would just keep it in Bitcoin for safety right now and not invest in anything else. I have lost a terrible amount of equity not having my money in Bitcoin but having kept it in altcoins.

I think you must invest a little to cryptocurrency, or half of bitcoin will just save to your wallet so that in the near future it will rise.

Leave as is. Since Bitcoin is now in growth, and because of shifting to different baskets, you can miss the profit, because of the long duration of transactions.

You can more like 80% of it and leave the rest or invest some of it in potential altcoin and project which you have trust in and you can earn reasonably from. If you do your research, you will find these potential project that you can invest in.

If what you wrote is true. And for 6 months you have received 12 bitcoins. If I were you, I'd do what I did. More precisely those that bring me money. As for your question, I would leave half of the bitcoins, and the second would invest in altcoins.

If you could invest such a large amount of money into the crypto currency, then you should have figured out in advance where exactly you will invest them. I would invest in the TOP-10 crypto-currency and in new projects in the stages of ICO!

Based on the success and free time that I have, I have decided to research the top 200 altcoins and release at least one analysis of them a day. Will release the results in this group (first 500 to join will get access to the premium group) Link below...

https://t.me/CookieCrypto

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

At first, I put everything into Bitcoin amid the huge FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin plunged to $1,900. At that point I put a large portion of my cash into NEO before the majority of the publicity at around $12 and liquidated out at $40. At that point I put resources into a couple ICO's and turned a truly decent benefit of off the publicity. From that point onward, I got back in on NEO when China declared the directions with respect to ICO's and rode the wave once more from around $20 to $40 (I can't exactly recollect). At that point, I rode the publicity of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a couple of other airdrop tricks (in the wake of paying off a couple of the devs, I got huge rebates in contrast with showcase costs and drove the volume up on their particular markets to get them recorded on coinmarketcap.com which slung their cost). At last, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap.com and turned a 20 times or 21 times greater benefit.

12 BTC  is not a small amount of that one. Can toy around with,. That's a fortune you have at hand,. It might seem like it's a small amount due to the red market but the. Value will. Rise up again as soon as the market by recovers so hold on to the. Coins

In my opinion, you have quite a lot of bitcoins at your disposal and i would advice you to hold on to your bitcoin rather that trying to invest into Altcoins that might make you lose some Satoshi value of your bitcoins. i would also advice you to continue doing what you did that made you earn that amount of bitcoins as well.

A large amount of BTC, invest heavily in alcohols. I am sure you will make a big profit from this investment. At present, the price of BTC is decreasing sharply, the value of BTC is decreasing

I would never invest only in one kind. I would keep some of the money in btc, and invest in some of the different cryptocurrencies. this may be safer way.

I know it's your place, but I would just withdraw for now if I would have 12 bitcoins on my account because it's a bunch of money, although I am understanding that case of growth you will have a greater opportunity and benefit.

Bitcoin is the most reliable coin. If I had 12 bitcoins - I would have kept 5 years and would have sold at a price of 60k-100k for a coin

Given such incredible results my advice is, just keep doing what you're doing. And i think it's better to keep Bitcoin. Its price is very high, there are falls, but not large. In addition, by 20% you can buy Altcoins, for example, Ethereum or other coins, because they give a good profit for a small price.
