Hold your Bitcoin if the price reaches $10k usd the price will correct then before that you must convert your BTC to usd ,then after the correction buy the BTC again the outcome is more BTC.

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

There are many things you can do to your bitcoins, you can hold it for a long time to gain a huge profit, or you can buy other tokens and trade it like Ethereum, Ripple, Waves and many more. and also hold it for a long time to gain huge profit. Trading is also a good strategy to gain profit, it's up to you how you will handle your 12 bitcoins. Goodluck!

All you need to do is hold your btc and just keep waiting until the bitcoin price rise again, i stil believe in the end of this year bitcoin price can rise more than 10k$. I think bitcoin is the safest investment in cryptocurrency.

According to this https://longforecast.com/bitcoin-price-predictions-2017-2018-2019-btc-to-usd bitcoin price can drop by the end of 2018 but it will rise again by the end of 2019 to above $6000.

Currently, I think you should hold them, should not sell them out. BTC prices are at their lower levels and they will rebound, i hope,  starting in september until the end of this year. So holding them is the best idea.

I agree with you. Longforecast.com say that BTC will drop -33% by the end of August, and by the end of next year only it will rebound and cost about $6000 again.

I agree, and clearly you're good at picking the right coins so you should take advantage of that. Don't risk too much on any single offering, but continue selecting the coins that you think are the best.

You can also start drawing up plans for one of your own. That will take a lot more time and effort than it seems, so you might want to keep going with the altcoins while you get things in order. That way you can balance yourself between the income that you know you can get, and the income that you will earn with a big project in the future.

I think it's better that you just hold it so you earn a lot and you do not have to worry about it when you enter it in a dangerous way, but just by holding a bitcoin safe and lage you'll see the bitcoin you are paying for.

12 BTC isa god amount of quality coins that you have with you there, One of the most reasonable things to do currently is to hold on to these coins, as its almost a certainty that the coin will recover, however there are also options of re investing them elsewhere, like in quality alts, remeber to pare some and hold, maybe half of them .

You have 12BTC well I think that is great the current price of bitcoin is withing 6000$ to 6500$ and that is because of the current poor conditions of the crypto market so when the bull market comes it will increase so if you wisely deal with it you will be in the moon.  But I always advice on holding as well
