It's happening because of people like you.  And this difficulty retargeting is good for common miners.

...a coin going to 290000 difficulty in less than 150 blocks sure is my fault. and how is a coin jumping to difficulties that nearly rival a coin like litecoin with at the time like 150 GH good for the common miner?
