That's a good question (sorry I don't have an answer for you!).

I was also curious about all these people that advertise to say, "like" a facebook page or "follow" on twitter. I forget the site link but I saw a bunch of people actually offering this for a percentage of a bit coin. Anyone really do this?

Thanks, V - checked out a couple links from the wiki.

I'm still confused but I sure see the importance of securing the wallet.

From what I can gather after reading a ton of material, it seems you can try selling any product or service you can dream up, correct?

yes but the tricky bit is the method that lets you do this.

Web base shopping basket for bitcoins ? <---not looked into yet but i bet someone has it working

3rd partys who handle exchanges..so...um Can someone buy me a cow in $ and i will give you these bitcoins. <--- lol would need a really good trusted 3rd party to handle that one i guess.

I see trust as a hurdle that I guess we are going to have to overcome and the best way I guess would be with reputation.

Im a noob tho and just learning.

My 2 bitcoins

It is a pipe dream but I wish one could buy electricity for a stable price.  It would really help people understand how much mining costs.

i would buy anything - the most important I guess is that it should work without the 3rd party or complicated conversion/exchange processes..
