Hey, I love Tux, but giving him a few BTC doesn't really constitute a new mascot, IMO

My attempt... His hated foe... The windmill reminds me of Don Quixote. Boy, I wish I was an artist. I would draw Don Quixote riding an alpaca on his quest to spend bitcoins.

The windmill reminds me of Don Quixote. Boy, I wish I was an artist. I would draw Don Quixote riding an alpaca on his quest to spend bitcoins. That's exactly what I was trying to reference, which is why gavinator is wearing that funny hat/helmet. Sadly I'm not much of an artist either...

Bitcoin Core developer [PGP] Warning: For most, coin loss is a larger risk than coin theft. A disk can die any time. Regularly back up your wallet through File → Backup Wallet to an external storage or the (encrypted!) cloud. Use a separate offline wallet for storing larger amounts.

The windmill should not be together with them (i don't mean not in the same pic, just not be a part of the mob)

The bitcoin and Quixote analogy is a good one, good reference here.

But wasn't Quixote actually insane, attacking useful constructions thinking they were monstrous enemies?

A cryptographic-based p2p currency can challenge a global centrally managed fiat system run by the elite.
