Right now you can mine millions per day but as time goes it reduces greatly. Will the value of infinitecoin increase due to that?
What do you guys think?

I like infinitecoin, but no item has value without utility.

Unless there is a use for IFC there will be nearly zero demand. If there is low demand the price will always stay low, because supply will always outweigh demand.

Something being scarce does not make it valuable.

Just another scamcoin for suckers.

It might be a shitcoin, but it certainly isn't a scamcoin.

Scamcoins have promotion and a premine so that the "developer" can profit. If this is a scam, it's the worst run scam you could imagine.

The fact that we are even discussing difference between the 'just hit puberty' type language such as scamcoin and shitcoin says it all. Unless you're into beer bongs full of natty light, reasonable investors will RUN from these type of sub forums.

IFC is trading on coins-e.com.  But the IFC/BTC market is empty, and the IFC/LTC has no trades yet.

Is even 0.00000001 LTC too expensive for 1 IFC?

I thought it only went to 6 zeros? I'd buy at 0.00000003 LTC/IFC (seven zeros). The only sell orders are 0.00000014 (six zeros), which is about 5 times too expensive. Maybe I'll move some LTC over and put in a buy order.

What do you guys think?

Just reading about it now for the first time . .

524,288 (2^19) coins per block . . . but halving every month.

After 12 months, each block will generate 2^7 coins . . 128 coins . . essentially a negligible number compared to the existing number of coins. 90 billion or something.

So it will be very deflationary at that point - which is great for holders of the currency . . . the market isn't being flooded by new coins every day.

But what is the incentive to mine at that point? There's unlikely to be sufficient transaction fees by that point and the miners would abandon it.

So 2 main criticisms -

1. Infinite coin is a very bad name for it. While the numbers used are high, it's actually very limited - and ironically that is its strength.

2. The developer doesn't have a credible plan to transition away from high mining rewards after 12 months.

Membercoin - Layer 1 Coin used for the member.cash decentralized social network.

True, true, coins-e is kinda empty now.

Any other places besides this forum where IFC are (attempting to be) traded?

The problem with coins-e is that, no one has LTC there, trade LTC/BTC is empty. And offer of IFC at low price is low amount, it's not worth it to transfer LTC there just to get 10K IFC.

Hope cryptsy will trade IFC soon, they said they will fix some format issue before supporting it.
