You must understand ICO's before investing in them.

ICO Presale or PRE-ICO, is the token sale event that Blockchain enterprises run before the official crowdsale or ICO campaign goes live. The fund-raising targets for Pre-ICOs are often lower as compared to that of the main ICO and tokens are usually sold cheaper.

Many people invest in ICOs all the time, but before they do, they need to do good research and know more about the project.

Yes I do - recently joined pre-ico with https://modultrade.io
it's beneficial as I was able to pick the 40% discount they offered at the very beginning

Good news - already now I can sell at nominal price- they are trading via Etherdelta - pretty cool, IMO

To keep it simple, after going through a project and finding potential in it, buying tokens during the pre-sale when there will be a bonus available is probably your best bet while investing, rather than investing in the ICO itself, as you will get receive more tokens for your money.
The hardest part currently is finding the right projects to invest in with tens of thousands already being out there. That is why prior research about the projects is very important as it gives an idea of the potential of the project.

Im investing in trade.io, very promising project. It's raised over 11mill dollar in pre-ICO and team is working hard to make this ICO a success.

It's not so hard to identify scam ICO at pre- stage (anonymous team, lack of whitepaper, blurry program etc.)
Research and patience are the key to profitable investments.

Not all pre-ICO programs are legit. But if it is legit I trust them obviously.

Yes, and legitimacy comes from researching the ICO.
PRE-ICO is just a stage where you can earn tokens at a lower price, this is not the problem.

Hi, Crowdholding just allowed ERC-20 tokens to build multipule currency platform.
So, we have another task for you: Give us links to pre-ICO businesses who plan to launch their pre-ICO after November. Give a sentence or two why you think they would be a good fit for CH and we will contact them. We will be active with reaching out to businesses already on the exchange and pre-ICO startups.

Leave your comment here: https://www.crowdholding.com/project/68/task/309/

Thanks a lot, and what are the most important things I should pay attention to when choosing the right project?

majority of those are participating in the pre-icos thinking about they are earning more coin through participate in the per-sale and if the price will only touch the ico price and they will still get some profit.
My thought that a lot of the people are still betting into it. You can see in some icos that provided the pre-sale for early participant and most of them raised some money.

I trust pre-ICO programs and this is because i can evaluate on how the program may behave and stand after a period of time. Having great pre-ICO means a greater tendency that it will grow and earn and be successful. The pre-ICOs are the basis if the token will worth more or not.

With the lure of big bonuses all investors will believe in this
In most cases, this pre-ICO collects a much smaller amount of money, and offers a lower-priced token with a large bonus. More specifically, find pre-ICO with a bonus of 30% or more compared to unusual ICO prices.

Depends on the project itself, the last time i invest on pre-ico is on gladius because i feel this project gonna be big in the future, that's why i invest on it and people usually invest on pre-ICO because of the bonus. Some pre-ico programs usually have a good bonus on it to attract more investors.

I trust in ICOs that ive researched and i know something about them, details are important to know. I invested in trade.io because i believe it will be successful. So far this ICO has raised more than 11mill dollars in just PRE-ICO and still rising.

The key here is to trust in ICOs but not in all ICOs.
Some of them are scams and caution must be taken before investing in any ICO.
