There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Registrations seem to be temporarily halted.
Requests for invites will be fulfilled, you just won't be able to activate Google+ until the service is expanded.

The workaround that I was using to send invites has been plugged by Google. No more invites until further notice  edit: no it hasn't, the system is just over capacity. Send me a PM, and I'll send you an invite. You won't be able to register immediately, only after the service is expanded, but you'll have a valid invite! |
