Anything is possible tbh. Although 500k per BTC would require a ton of investment first. At some point people should realize that some altcoins offer a lot more than BTC...

Bitcoin is very volatile so there are no such thing for bitcoin's price to be impossible though there are some limitations there. I think bitcoin reaching that huge price will be really something that people can never imagine.

And I think that time, bitcoin is accepted. not only accepted but used by most of the countries all around the world.

If majority of the people would tend to accept bitcoin as way of their payment for their bills and other things, also majority would see the benefit of investing and the returns on bitcoin in might reached that level of price by 2020 or as early as that. If bitcoin will be use by majority of the people around the world and NO ONE will ban bitcoin, then there is a chance that it will go high but not at that price. For me I think that is too high to reach. It will need many many investors to reach that price.

I think that projection is too high.  As bitcoin is so volatile and has limitations, the current performance is something we in the community should be happy.  Just hold some btc and hope for the best.

If BTC price will be 500k, then BTC capitalization should be be 10 500 000 000 000 $   (21mln BTC * price)
But a lot of BTC are/will be lost. ~12 mln BTC will be available in future. It`s just my opinion.

by that time we must have seen different fork of bitcoin like bitcoin silver, bitcoin diamond, bitcoin bronze and bitcoin transition elements . well i hope bitcoin is sustained before that time because the coin is already creating alot of headaches for haters and they will be looking for way to shut it down. which means internet will also be shutdown as well. 2020 is 3 year from now. if it takes bitcoin to reach almost $10k in 8 years i do not think the coin will reach $500,000 by 2020. the person that wrote the article is taking a leap of faith.

But that means not easy to reach $500,000 in 2020(me think).
If that will be able(by recent popularity) to reach,it will a great chellange .

with the rate that bitcoin is going, i think it is possible to hit $500000 in 2020. Remember that in 1yr, bitcoin has done x12, imagine it does that for the next 3years. Also remember that more and more people know about bitcoin everyday.

Nah that's insane! Even $100k in 3 years would an outstanding performance.
On the other hand we've never seen something like that before and high price levels may be possible, at least for a short amount of time. I expect definitely a 6-12 months bear phase within the next 3 years. So no price rise, just retracing and consolidation during that period, whatever the top of the actual run will be. Therefore $500k is very unlikely to happen imo. But this price level is possible! Just not in that very short timeframe of 3 years.

That is a very large nominal and it seems unlikely to happen. It is not a rational nominal because the price is too high it seems impossible to happen. I might just be speculating that Bitcoin's price will increase 100% annually, Bitcoin's price has reached 10,000USD and it is likely that Bitcoin's price will reach 30,000USD by the end of 2020. Bitcoin is very difficult to predict, but I still believe the rates are optional which is very possible to happen.
