First of all you need to find a good cryptocurrency, because the key to long-term investment is that the cryptocurrency you are investing in will have a great future development prospect

Of course you can hold your altcoin for a year or how many years you want, your token value will remain. but you do not know if the price in the market will go up or down. because every minute of your token price is potentially up or down, bad if you do not have gas, you will miss the moment when your token price rises.

•What if I dont have any money ? And I decided to hold my altcoin at my wallet.
•Will the value remain?

For example

I got a Klarity token and I got no gas so I will leave it there for a year or two.

•Any chances of value getting higher? Or it will die to years later?
Either die, or grow several times. If there is no gas in the purse and the number of coins there is on an insignificant amount, I do not see any reason to bother with the withdrawal and waste gas.

it depends on your own, if you need money, you simply deposit it to your wallet to sell your coins, no one knows the price will be like in the next year, if the project stops automatically the price will be destroyed too, there is no certainty that the longer we hold, the price will be higher.

Yes you can hold your altcoins in your wallet for a long period of time like years as you wish. It is your wallet you owe the reserved access to your wallet, are you scared of hackers???

Yes you can hold it for long term as long as that alt still exists. You can sell it when altcoin prices go up and can get a good profit and always remember to save your private key.

This is a personal preference, you can keep for years your altcoins in your wallet,  but you should follow the project and follow the developments to prevent any possible loss of money.

You can hodl your tokens for decades. About the value, it depends on the token you are hodling. Either North or south, one is definitely going to happen after some years

Yes, and I recommend Trezor for that. It's working really well for me. Highly recommended.

They give you a sheet to write down your recovery seed/phrase so that in the event your Trezor is lost/not supported in 30 years/whatever, you can easily recover your wallet by entering the phrase into any popular wallet service, such as Electrum or Mycelium on your phone.

It's a good, foolproof system. But you should play around with it for a bit, exchange some coins to your own wallets, get a feel for the device, then finally move your savings to it and sleep soundly knowing that they are safe and the backup exists.
I agree on this post, well said. They got a high security capabilities along other online wallet. Well, the security is always matter specially if you want a long term storage wallet. This is the one main reason on how to choose a right wallet for your future software money.

You can hold your tokens as long as you want in your wallet, just make sure you are hodling the right tokens

Also as long as the tokens still alive and got supported by developers

There is no expiry date to how long you can hold a coin in your wallet. The question is, is the altcoin worth holding for long term? If yes, then you can be sure of holding it according to the set roadmap of that coin for better returns from the coin as the price surges through the market.

This is due to the fluctuation of the crypto market, the BTC is constantly decreasing, causing the altcoin to constantly decrease accordingly. So the tokens you earn from the bounty or you hold in your wallet will lose or very low prices. But do not worry wait a while, when the BTC up again 20k then it will x10, x20.

For cases like this, I think everyone of course has a view of each. Depending on how their trading as well. If it doesn't matter to me, hodl altcoin with quite a long time. However, you must also update the info about the coin. If it is reasonably still have a future, then hodl it doesn't matter.
