My business is printing shirts and making design for others if i have lots of budgets i will print many shirts that has bitcoin design on it and give it to every body for free just to promote bitcoin in our community and also in my school/ college.

1. As bitcoin is illegal in my country, if government will find me accepting bitcoin in my shop they will quickly arrest me in the name of money laundering.
2. If I will promote bitcoin or talk about bitcoin to other guys government will arrest me for promoting illegal items in the country.
3. Bitcoin T-shirts are visible from long distance so it will be easier for C.B.I. guys to catch me.
4. After that out government will ask for 3 fold of the amount I have earned as fine for being involved in foreign exchange business.

Most of the people will not give a damn about the tech behind bitcoin. They will get interested if you share your earning (like already everyone else mentioning). In 2015ish I has been talking to my family and my friend about bitcoin, they had no interest when I talk about the tech and stuff. But when They see I can make some earning in this kind of stuff. I don't think showing off is a good way of spreading awareness. People are jealous and vindictive, and those with preconceived notions that Bitcoin is a scam is only going to fall further within that hole. They're more likely to approach you and ask about it if you're humble with your earnings. Don't tell them how much you've earned, because they'll inevitably ask about that.

As for me, I'm taking the educational approach, but I'm not preachy about it. I only really tell people who are curious and mention it in passing. People should foster their own curiosity. If you preach it to everyone who's half-willing to listen, they're more likely to think of it as a scam.

I don't think that promoting bitcoin through it's price increase this year is a good thing to do, unless you really know what you are saying because people may think that it is really a bubble if you will not be able to answer their questions. In the starting when I entered in the bitcoin field then I was much excited to use bitcoin and to make future earnings , so I was promoting much the bitcoin to make the people aware such things and make profit by the better investment .
I was making promotion of the bitcoin is my local life and also at the social media Because I was looking to investors ( Because of no money ) , but every people who was small educated said me that you are fool and bitcoin is fake way of investment and loss money .
So I left the idea of educating the people about and made them feel of jelious about my earnings now in these days .

If i am going to promote and advertise Bitcoin i think i am going to accept Bitcoin as a payment and also try to put someideas on how Bitcoin works i am going to advertise it in local news paper that includes the information on what is bitcoin , benefits that you will get using Bitcoin , the advantages and disadvantages of it in the investor or its user.
