I've sold my btcredin etherdelta, and just let my ethereum stay there for a couple of days coz im planning to buy GRX, but after few days of not visiting the site, i found my account with zero eth balance! My eth was withdrawn to this address: https://ethplorer.io/0xd32417e42607280cd882ef30e9babf7a0bdfb355And it seems this address is doing something fishy, can i find out whoever is the owner of this address in this forum?

Etherdelta has nothing to do with your MEW account since they are decentralized exchange which means they dont posses your private keys even if you do input informations on there. I do suspect that you are victimized by phishing on which someones do know your keys and transfer all the balance on that wallet to hackers wallet. This is the nearest possible that do happen to you because ED has nothing to do with these kind of issues.

I don't think etherdelta is safe because some of my friend 's account there when he leaved private keys, his acct was hacked and all of his token was lost so we adviced him to used metamask for a safer one.

Etherdelta is a safe website buddy. It is used by many people to buy and sell tokens in exchange for ETH. There is nothing to worry about since I had my coins on it from a long time. You just have to play safe and not keep your ETH account logged in all the time. Click on forget account every time you shut down the computer. Keeping the account logged in all the time makes the account more prone to be hacked.

I cannot open that address for some reason says 'Error - Invalid Request' and never had any issue with EtherDelta used it couple of times but I always withdraw my balance right away when I am done with exchanging, I don't think there is anyway to find who owns a address that addy is loading fine on Etherscan but doesn't load on Ethplorer for some reason.

In my own opinion Etherdelta is safe, one of hot exchange service but always take precautions. You just need to know or learn how etherdelta works. Sometimes it's hard to exchange with them I myself when I used etherdelta on my first exchange with them it's hard for me to cope with lots of tech stuff rules. Just double check all your inputs transactions with them. Good luck.

So far, I have no problems with Etherdelta. Did you check your computer for virus or malware that steal your private key when entering in Etherdelta? Or did you visit a phishing website?

It is a legit exchange for tokens on ETH and I'm currently using it without any problem, plus etherdelta is like poloniex or bittrex in bitcoin, it is the most used trading platform for tokens. Did you have a separate eth address from myetherwallet or a generated address from the exchange itself? because leaving your money over the exchange is not safe at all it is not advisable to do that, always make an independent wallet so that you can pull out your tokens whenever you want then secure it on a offline storage so that no one can touch it or use a metamask. check also your device for a possible virus that steals private key.

I guess your friend was victim of phishing site, etherdelta is very safe exchange. OP have you stored your private key which was provided to you? Did you transfer tokens to etherdelta's address, deleted cookies maybe that is problem?

So many news about trading in Etherdelta got hacked by phishing, i don't have any idea what it is. Im scared now to trade my tokens on etherdelta, is their other way to avoid this? Also i don't know how to trade that's why im scared now.

You are a victim of phishing. I'm sorry to tell you that. Like what others have told, EtherDelta seems to be good and most of us have been using it without any issues. And its one of the trusted sites specially for ERC20 tokens. As far as you lost ETH I don't think you can get it back as well. And as you said, that address is fishy so its likely that the hacker is using it as a staging address for all his hacks and will cover his tracks very soon. Just be careful, a lot of hackers are targeting us specially bitcoin and eth price are soaring.

I don't know much on technical side and don't have any 100% proves, but I currently work in big ICO project and we receive dozens of messages from the users who tried to use etherdelta and then got their MEW account data stolen.

Though I have not used etherdelta in token sales but I have tried to read about them online and the review people are making about them and I have not see any negative comments about they services, except of recent when, I began to see some thread about how etherdelta is stealing tokens from people account. Maybe something has made they system unsafe.

I once sold tokens through this exchange and everything was fine with me. You, most likely, went to a phishing site

Why Etherdelta is not safe? Etherdelta is ERC20 related exchanger. No need open new account.Just import your own myetherwallet address and private key.Etherdelta community all time say don't give your MEW (myetherwallet) private key on any fishing site.So keep safe your MEW private key then your etherdelta account will be safe.

An Etherdelta "account" is merely a public/private key pair imported into the Etherdelta interface. Any unencrypted private key is at risk of theft from hackers. It's extremely important that you avoid malware and phishing websites. Was the private key generated on Etherdelta, or did you import it? Have you used this key anywhere else, like MEW? If so, check your browser history and make sure that you were on the real MEW and not a phishing site. Have you ever clicked on links in your email pertaining to MEW or Etherdelta? Those are phishing scams, too. Personally, I've used Etherdelta for months and I believe it is safe. Keys are generated client-side, and I've kept funds there for months with no issues. Use Metamask for additional privacy/security.

I have used Etherdelta for some time now and i think that it is relatively safe. If importing your wallet to ED, it is obviously very important that you take precautions. Like i have a dedicated ED wallet address which i can safely use for trading on the platform. Apparently, even though you import to ED with your private key, it doesn't actually leave your browser but i can't be sure of this therefore i don't take chances. Once you share your private key with anyone or any company, you run the risk of something happening. All the best.
