i dont think so, so much altcoins were on the market traders ,investors will not stick to only one altcoin. Maybe they will invest on monero but they will never put all thier money on the coin.

I think it is possible that some are going to move to monero but most people are not that concerned about privacy as you may think, even if bitcoin becomes more regulated that does not means people are going to cooperate willingly, also if there is a group of coins that are going to be regulated are the anonymity coins since those are the ones that are on the radar of governments and security agencies.

Unfortunately, privacy coins are a very niche market.
Actually, normal blockchain technology is fairly anonymous already, so those who want ultimate privacy are really looking for specific use cases.
Of course, the first things that spring to mind are all unsavory transactions: contraband, illegal goods, tax evasion, etc.
But not all use privacy coins for these things.

With that being said, I believe that monero is the best privacy coin out of all of them.
Dash has a higher market cap, but it is highly plagued by questionable development and acts.
There are coins out there with some really impressive features, like cloak coin, but monero has the ultimate benefit of being an established company with a trusted product.

With all of this in mind, I believe that monero still has a lot of room to grow.
The last couple of months it stabalized around 90 to $100, now, when the prices stabalize again I think it will keep above $100, then shoot towards $200 in the next bull run.

BTC itself started as an anonymous coin for the internet. And now XMR is the most anonymous coin here.

Black markets are already using XMR. Which gives it a go as a trusted and proved coin. To be used all over the internet.

Regulation in regards to Bitcoin is the single most foolish thing people like to bring up. Can governments and banks, people in power restrict the sale/use etc of Bitcoin, sure. But inherently, Bitcoin is controlled by mining power, and the guys who own .1-5% of the total supply, just like in any market.

Monero will always be a safe haven for those in the crypto scene. The more regulated it becomes, the better for XMR - but i think governments will embrace the blockchain technology instead of trying to censor and destroy it - although our governments are never known to act wisely and do whats best for the population, so you can never know.

They do not have reasons to ban crypto outright so at first they are going to try to play it cool, and accept crypto but then they are going to begin to impose all kind of weird rules and regulations, fortunately for us not everyone is going to do the same and we are going to be able to avoid being subject to those regulations, then they are going to try to ban it but at that point it will be too late.

I won't be, i will be turning to other anonymous crypto currencies. I just saw a new one called bulwark that is gpu mineable, looks rather interesting. Than there is all the other major existing privacy coins like verge, pivx, deep onion and zcash. Even dash has some good features to hide payments like Privatesend. Monero is overpriced for the features it has in my eyes.

Monero is going to continue to thrive for now thanks to the DNMs. They ensure Monero's survival and pretty much ensure i'm not hodling enough xmr as well.

someone who uses monero surely someone is a great trader because although still good store bitcoin but save monero also no less good. and although the bitcoin is set up there will definitely be a return to monero as a coin of choice for profit.
