If you want to hold it for long term, then buy now. It's good time to buy IOTA and Cardano as well.

Why are there so many coins? 2.779.530.283 MIOTA
Because there are no decimals. 1 IOTA is the smallest unit and 1 MIOTA (what you buy on exchanges) is 1,000,000 IOTA. Make sense? Dont understand that? What you say is that we have 2.779.530.283 MIOTA to buy on exchanges, right? 1 IOTA isnt worth to talk about imo if you cant buy it. So we have 2 Billion, 779 Million + coins ---- compared to 16.753.075 BTC for example?

Hi
thats correct. A lot of people say that regarding the coins on the market it will never ever be that expensive than BTC. But lets see. IOTA is too young to judge. Let 2018 past and we will see. If IOTA is end of 2018 still under 20$ i will think about to sell them. If they will be around 10$ i would definite sell them.
Lets see

Yes. IOT technology is still developing and becoming more popular day by day. And iota will keep growing paralelly to iot systems. I was expecting an earlier pricing for iota. Anyway it is still cheap i can advice to buy.

In my opinion, IOTA has a very good project, just needs some updates, but the ideal is caution in IOTA investments. The price is very high, with a large amount of supply.

IOTA went on a stellar run recently fueled by rumours of big industry deals which may or may not materialise. I think the token has a good future although competition is already coming fast.

The base unit of IOTA matters as machines and microtransactions are the intended use. If you look at the data marketplace you'll see that most sensor data is sold in the hundreds of IOTA, not millions. If you bought on an exchange and purchased data, your MIOTA would be broken in down to the base unit of IOTA. If you are only hodling as an investment and have no plans on using your IOTA for buying data or m2m--yes, you are trading in your listed amounts in millions of IOTA (MIOTA)--though there may come a time when exchanges trade it in smaller bundles of 100,000..10,000...1,000...100..10, so it's better to understand this distinction now, rather then be confused if a change occurs.

IOTA has around 100 times more available coins than BTC for example, for what reason??

Hi guys, When I found IOTA I was totally enthusiastic and of course I bought some coins;) I think it will be great investment because IoT in future, but I wanna know your opinion. Do you expect that the price will go higher and why? And should I buy some more?
In my own opinion those altcoins has the best price in terms of marketing at first but when the time comes that coins has been already released in the market then eventually the price will always decrease in half.
