I do not think this is a very unlikely possibility. If the price of Electroneum is $ 2 then it means that it will be 40 times higher than the price, which seems to me a impossibility in the near future.

i see ETN below the ico price...as soon they actually not only empty their own mining bags but allow others to sell also.

No one is saying that electroneum isn't popular, just that it can't reach the levels of $2 by this year with almost absolute certainty. It's such a huge price, when they get mobile mining running I expect to see the price very high compared to ICO but still that would be somewhere about 20c not $2.

Of course it won't reach $2 anytime soon and especially not in a month. Maybe in 2018 we can see a price over $0.1 but nothing we can count on. Even if it "just" reach $0.1 it's 10x of ICO price.

A lot of the supply and especially about a lot of people can mine it through their smartphone devices. The inflation will come in the future but i'm not sure about each etn will worth $2 for each coin.

Alt coins can reach up to an unknown market value due to the fact that they are unpredictable or volatile. It is really possible for ETN to reach 2$ or even more, or we can also say it the other way as ETN's market value will plummet down to zero.

i heard investors and supporters didn't received their coin for now,, so its could be down more because few investors and supporters will dump their coin as soon as they received their coins

I do not believe in this coin. The team is weak and they do not develop their project well. But, maybe I'm wrong. But I would not buy this coin for long-term investment

The miners in this forum are saying that the phone mining is only simulated mining. So if users are being paid for simulated mining and others are doing the real mining, that would mean the rate of coins added to circulation would be about 2x, as the real miners still need a certain payout to compete with other currencies.

There's far better coins then bitcoin, but bitcoin is the largest because it has been around for 8 years. That means it's been marketed and in the news for 5+ years that's the only reason it's the biggest. The trust and accessibility that bitcoin has is a spinoff from the marketing. ETN's team is weak in tech, but strong in their marketing. Their marketing strategy is genius. I can see this being a 5 billion market cap coin very quickly. That would put it at 20X price, add to that that the crypto market going to 10X at least, then you have a 200X coin in 6 months to a year. Bitcoin is being listed on CME soon, and NASDAQ in the 2nd quarter of 2018. Most people who want to get into crypto don't because they don't know how, or don't trust the web, these mainstream exchanges are trusted, and accessible.

If ETN is a scam then it's a very good one use your people sense, the team does not seem like scam artists, they have interviews, and office tours on youtube. I would say it's a 10% likely hood that it's a scam.

$2 will be x40 of current price - something I don't see to happen.

it will depend on customers interested on the coin, probably it may happen as to be another pump and dump coin and that's crappy.

The price will crash to 0.009 - 0.0008 cents next year
