Edit: Silly me, I meant to add this: https://blockchain.info/tx/3d961e64188bd1d7ec01749806063d505e84d6c4d3e019b82bb811e61221e7f6?show_adv=trueaddress I was sending to: 1KnyGG1sySxmCGAD2AAukCWPT8T1o22rhK transaction ID: 3d961e64188bd1d7ec01749806063d505e84d6c4d3e019b82bb811e61221e7f6

Could you be more specific? Letting us know the full address you sent to so we can look it up on the blockchain would be a great start.

that would be the transaction fee. it goes to the node(miner) that processes your transaction

I thought the transaction fee was 0.005 BTC?
The amount for 0.02075807 BTC is what I don't understand.

This is the transaction I was making through bitcoin-qt
::Fixed::
I was sending 0.001 to a new btc address and agreed to the 0.005 BTC fee. Please tell me if I'm missing something. I did not send 0.02xxx BTC today.
