What was supposed to happen tomorrow aka today? Lol

The site was supposed to open for Xcrowd orders. Today the 16th.

Yes, they said this in their email newsletter.

In the UK it is: 8:40 AM, Friday, August 16, 2013

It's pretty early in the morning still... I'm sure they'll have it up sometime today.

It says "pay on delivery".  So I take it ordering doesn't require you forking over money yet?

The website should be accessible to everyone later in the day. It's still around 2am here.

Most likely the site will let you pay for the whole thing if you so desire, sans escrow. Yet another avenue for the scam. We shall see.

That option will not be available for at least 5 months. Sorry to disappoint.

Unfortunately our website was hit again with a DDOS attacks. It seem like some IP addresses in Russia really don't like us.  Since over 30% of our visitors and potential customers are from Russia it complicates the whole issue unfortunately

We have to apologies for postponing our launch yet again but we want to get off to a good start with a stable status on a secure platform. We will be launching this Monday (12:00 PDT) and opening our website for reservations (promise!). However in the meantime here are some sneak peaks from our last update that most of you probably missed due to our bad choice of design.

Reasons why xCrowd is worth the wait:

- Lowest prices in the market starting from just $6.60/ GH

- Difficulty rate insurance - up to 350 million

- Newbie friendly remote management tools

- Hosted mining packages - starting from 12TH with low management fees

- 100% escrow deposits and "no questions asked" refund policy

- Revenue reimbursement scheme for faulty returns on selected products

- One more thing... Bulk chip sales

Stay up to date by either following us on twitter or you can always reach us by email.

It's very unclear. What exactly does this mean?  Will the site force customers to fork the full amount upfront on Monday or not? Or will the payment be due against delivery via escrow so the site will only take "sign ups" on Monday? You are talking about refunds but also talking about pay against delivery.
So confusing. Please clarify.
Thanks.

It means they will guarantee your ROI on your hashrate purchased upto to such point as the network difficulty surpasses 350 million.

But the point is, by your own admission you don't need the money. You just want to hold onto people's money and prevent them from purchasing in the time it takes you to create something, good or bad, however long that may take as a company without any IC ASIC experience.

Was this ever answered/addressed?

One issue that might come up and this is a negative for x-crowds business. If you are expecting full payment upon delivery, what if people just don't pay you? Or do you mean delivery of miners to your location? How does this work?

Hello,

Can you clarify the 6,6$/GH statement please?

What is the minimum volume to get this price?

Do you add the 20% VAT witch is standard in UK?

(would make price go up to about 8$)

Thank you

Hello xcrowd!

While I have gone through escrow.com payment options, there might be a problem with paying with paypal or credit card since they request premier service. I would like to know if there is any other paying option on reservation. Will there be reservation with paying also in BTC?

Thanks for all the answers!

Very Expensive per Gh/s and they don't accept credit cards and don't have any stocks. So please Stay Away

The seller sets up payment methods Im sure xcrowd will get premier service to accept credit cards. Even if the buyer had to sign up for a higher service how is that a problem? Just sign up.

Probably, in my opinion they need to release massive amounts of info about their team angel investors ect to gain more credibility. Even though they have jobs listed doesn't mean they already don't have engineers.

I'm interested in these guys. Site is undergoing "maintenance" right now.  I seriously doubt the legitimacy of most ASIC manufacturers these days after having dealt with BFL.

Right now I am betting on KnC.  I'd like to see XCrowd succeed because we do need more manufacturers and stiffer competition on pricing.
