Op, there is no guarantee that bitcoin value will decline soon because the recent increase in the value of Bitcoin is unprecedented wiwhich many speculators still believe that Bitcoin market value Will still continue to increase in value in the coming days.
So many people have take their profit before now especially those who bought Bitcoin when it value was around  $11,000  and some people just bought recently awaiting the next increase.

everybody who sold at 11k will bang their heads on the table.
It makes at the moment no sense to sell.
And do not come with "sell high and buy low" where is high and where is low? Nobody knows. IF this would be that easy why we r not all be billionaires already?
The bitcoin market is on a crazy ride and the speculation has taken the price to new levels and yesterday was a really crazy ride as the price raised over three thousand dollars in a day and all of the different markets were having different rates which was really crazy and those who sold at profit does not need to bang their head,i am not sure how long these rally continues, selling at profits is still a good proposal.

Bitcoin price might still go up and it can continue to just keep going up because of the demand for bitcoin in the market. It might become bigger and bigger than before and that is why selling bitcoin is not the best option to do right now and it is better to just hold bitcoin and wait for the price to go up even higher.

Yes in just 5 days $5k variation in bitcoin price this is really crazy movement in bitcoin. And this will make tempt those who came recently to this bitcoin world. i think people are now confused what to do and what not to do if they sell and the price cross $20k definitely they fell sad and if they keep the price comes down here also they feel sad.

Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!

The price correction is waited and has been long overdue. People are waiting for it outside while the coin is not relenting on its bullish movement. It is really confusing sort of, how the price keep trippling within a short time.

I agree with your because so many investore are in dilemma on what to do, either to sell at this moment or keep holding. I mean, it is baffling how the price keep rising. Only 24 hours from yesterday, bitcoin price has increased to additional $3,000 from $13,000 which is making it sell at sixteen thousand dollars plus - the margin from yesterday is unbelievable  Grin

i can said that you have a point here because of the price correction of the bitcoin in the near future that's is actually possible but big chance here is that the bitcoin as of today is still increasing for sure there will be more in the future. no selling right now.

Selling bitcoin right now is a very tough decision because we all know the price of bitcoin will continue to soar higher and selling it may loose your money. If you really don't need your money try to hold a little more and for sure bitcoin can hit $15k this year believe on that.

Yes you are probably correct. The only point in selling bitcoin is to try to not be exposed to it's 20% market corrections. If you are successful in doing this you will be able to increase your bitcoin stack. Of course it's very hard to predict the market, and you might lose money if you think a dip will happen, and in the end all you see is a huge rise in price. These things sometimes happens in a few hours, so it's impossible to adjust our position if we did somthing wrong. The best plan is to hold until 2020 at least, because of the halve. Right now I'm holding my majority of coins, and I put aside a small % of my bitcoins, and I will try to trade them.
It is really very hard to predict the market and even though this correction is expected in the long run, no one knows how huge the correction is going to be and how long the bull run is going to continue before we end up seeing the correction.

Unless you are lucky to get the timing right, then there is no way anyone can know if this is the perfect time to sell or still wait a little bit later to sell.

The way bitcoin has made an increment of five thousand in previous three days was very impressive and I want to see that more in the future because there is no need for the bitcoin to stop at any of price because everyone wants more and this rally will continues from now to forever because now everyone is wishing that bitcoin grow more and more in coming days to give true essence of living to all the people.

Yes, I too prefer to save most of my income in BTC and do not convert it to the local currency as now one can say when a BTC holder can become rich. As the price of BTC is rising daily and no one will sell all of there BTC now as they already know they can get a better price of that in the future. SO I think that selling now is not a good option instead hold the for a year more and see what you will get in return.

True. The best way to go about the current situation is sell some, make sure you leave a little to hodl. We'll never really know if its gonna go up after this dip. Nobody knows where we're at now. Surely somehow it will go up, but if you try to look at it, you have to get some out so you can put more back in. The many you own the bigger the profits.

you're being too judgemental here.
What about people who're holding since bitcoin was <$1k and suddenly need some money?
you only loose if you sell lower than what you bought for. Not everyone plans on investing long, a crisp and quick little profit is enough for many.
Talking in general, you dont know about the sudden need of money people might be facing.
Most of the people suggesting to hold ignores the time value of money. I am not saying selling at $11k was a good move, i am just stating few generic cases.

I for my part sold off most of my Bitcoin at around $10.000. I surely do regret when looking at the profits I could have taken out if I waited longer, but on the other hand Im very satisfied, because if your investment almost doubles in a matter of some months, what are you complaining about?
The price surge of Bitcoin is insane in my opinion, and its only a matter of time until we will see four digits numbers for BTC again, but lets see.

I sold some of my bitcoins at $19k price few weeks back as I felt that it was really good price to sell my bitcoins and collect the profits and later on price started to drop so it was a right time to sell bitcoins instead of getting more greedy and holding it longer as price dropped massively after that and bought some coins at the price of $13k and now will hold it longer till it reaches to $20k price once again in near future which likely to happen in next couple of weeks or months.

Good traders are known for their good analyzation of the market charts and good trades at the right time. I personally want to hold Bitcoin for the long run because I believe it will grow very high in a couple of years. Bitcoin is fluctuating constantly and no one cant really tell which price will come next. Investors are usually the ones that are ordinating the price fluctuations. High demand means higher growth. Right now in the time when I am posting this Bitcoin has risen again on the value compared to 15000 dollars and that can change in no time. The best time to sell would be the time you had chosen yourself. Everyone has their own interests and each individual knows the right time for selling to cover his needs.

They would surely bang their heads as of now for those people who did sell off on $11k price because price had risen and playing on 14k-16k ranges if we do try to look on chart. For now as of writing we are almost hitting 15k . ( 14,840) on preev.com. For those people who did able to buyback on those 12.8k usd price when bitcoins price tend to go down then lucky for them if they do make short trades since it would be an easy profit.

I dont really sell it that quick. I only sell some of it when I need the money or if its for another investment. Since i can sell and buy bitcoin easily. I will just sell my bitcoin if I can profit out from it again. You cant have big income if you will just sell it quick after gaining 10% of it...

Me too I only sell if I really need the money and I don't sell all my bitcoin just a small amount of it. But I really can't blame others who sell when the price is on its peak. Its their personal choice and maybe they are longing on that day to come because for sure they gained a big profit from holding. Its not really a bad choice.

Well I sold a bit when the price hit $20k, and now it is back to $13k. Accumulating a bit of bitcoin now since my alts are mostly doing very well. I only sell my bitcoin to buy back in to the market when the price goes down.

I am not planing to sell my bitcoin holdings or even convert them into a local money because they are gonna rise up again and i am not gonna cut off my lose when the bitcoins reaches $20k again or even more in the next years so selling your bitcoins will just taking away your opportunity to gain a lot of money in the future. Since i am just a student i hsve a lot of time hodling my bitcoins and i do not need that much money this moment of time so it is much better to hold it for a long time and in the future i am gonna need it and they will be worth millions.

Its your call nobody would go against your decision if you have to do so. Dont worry about the price correction its all about the people who uses Bitcoin for investment or save some of their funds. Its all up to you wether if you want to invest or not in the long run with a low price in the meant time better take advantage of it while it is running low and easily gets profit from it.
