Crypto is here to stay. So many alts are figuring out how to solve real world problems, and make things easier. IF BTC was to crash, I would expect a bit of a slowdown, but it will definitely not be "the end of all crypto".

Chances are, price of other cryptocurrencies will crash too due to trading pairs usually being BTC:altcoin and not USD:altcoin. But it doesn't necessarily mean it will be the "end" of cryptocurrencies; prices will just be significantly lower for some time. Price is not an indicator of a coin's success; it just shows the demand on a certain coin.

Crypto is here to stay.

Only until quantum computing, which isn't that far away...

If Bitcoin were to crash it will likely take a lot of Altcoins with it (especially the forks). It would take quite a while for the system to recover because Bitcoin is like the mother to the other coins. Bitcoin is used as a central currency when it comes to buying coins, ICOs, trading, bots etc.

Etherium would probably take over and prices will come back a little.

If bitcoin crashed it will be the good time to buy a cheaper bitcoin for those whose been looking for a correction. I think bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will not end unless it lose the total support of all investors annd holders.

Yeah about that.
Will the invention of Wuantum comuputing not also mean that MINERS will use quantum computing as well,

I think it will be a big effect on all Crypto currency , but the final result will not destroy the Crypto currency market . Maybe it will affect it a long time, but the next btc will be appeared  . Because we can see the so big profit and necessary in Crypto currency .

A big no. We all know that bitcoin is powerful but if it will be crashed in the future it will be replaced by another currency but it takes time to heal with all cryptocurrencies.

It happened a lot of times and usually when bitcoin crashes, the money is only transferred over to other altcoins e.g. Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and the likes. Having said that, if there would be a huge crash impending, the money would just be tossed back and forth, then will go back to bitcoin (which was the case now for almost a year) after traders already achieved profit.

No, you just hash the private key of any address you want.

Interesting, and there's any esdtimated time for this to happen ? I haven't heard about that, would be the end of any cryptocoin.

Thanks Vod,

Amazing how fragile things are in a blink of eyes.
By this I think I need to read some more about what quantum computers are capable to do, thanks again for the input.

There are thousands of cryptocurrencies available in the market. Every now and then you will see a new ICO . At this stage bitcoin is around $163,037,447,966   worth market capital. It is not that easy to crash a currency worth that much and spread all over  world. Sometimes crashing a company or currency is somewhat easy compared to the entity spread across multiple continents.
Even if someone tries to crash the bitcoin in US or europe, markets from other part of world will happily cash in for the opportunity.
