Win 7 should be fine unless you have some personal preference why you don't want to use it. I sure as hell would take it over Vista or W8! But that is another discussion entirely  Shocked

Try Catalyst 13.1

It's the only version that I got to work for both my 5850 and my 6950

Sounds like you have removed openCL when uninstalling Catalyst.

How would I go about getting it back?

Both of those are for driver 13.4 which have failed for me before. I just need to find out what catalyst drivers and AMD APP SDK version I need.

After installing 13.1, I reboot like it asked. boots up with a box [MOM.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error] To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v4.0

I got net framework v4.0. Catalyst works. under each monitor/desktop should I turn on the openGL triple buffering under the frame rate control?

Cgminer should run both cards. You should only have to put one set of arguments for your overclock for them since they are the same.

ok. That brings me to my next question, how would I go about OC'ing, MSI AB? or catalyst?

fire up cgminer and make sure they are both working first... then you can overclock straight from cgminer.. this is how I run my 5850 and 6850 with cgminer, note that I don't care about noise

--intensity 19 --gpu-engine 850 --gpu-fan 100 --thread-concurrency 7200 --shaders 2880 --worksize 256 --api-listen --api-allow W:127.0.0.1

Thats assuming he is wanting to mine LTC.

I don't follow.  I use those same settings for mining Bitcoin, too... LTC Scrypt is just more profitable right now.
