Look, there was a time when Yahoo was the god of Google. Look what happened now. Bitcoin needs to keep up to date with the technology and the needs of the people. If any other Altcoins can meet the people demands, then they will survive like a boss.
Yes, altcoin will stay alive because many people use altcoin because now altcoin prices are falling and the smallest altcoin will die if there is no market demand. Nowadays many people with bitcoin with long-term and altcoin use will be more and more with the price that will now many are buying altcoins, for the future |

The biggest altcoins will survive. Such coins like Ethereum, Ripple, NEM, Dash, OmiseGo are already used by many companies, they have good reputation and provide a lot of new opportunities. But most of little altcoins will die if it is no demand for them.

Last year 60% of all the coins held by people was Bitcoin.
Now it is around 35-37%. It means that people invest in alts and diversify their portfolios.
So there is no need to worry, altcoins are gonna live long and prosper

The survival of altcoin is base on the demand for the coin, and the demand of the coin is based on the potential of the coin, coins like eth can never die because it solve a big problem in the crypto space, in which people can now build decentralized application that runs on the ethereum blockchain without having to fork an existing blockchain github repository in other to create a new coin.

maybe it all depends on the coin enthusiast. If coins lose fans, then coins will not last long, but if the fans increase then the coins will become successful. So in essence it all depends on the coin owner's strategy so that investors want to invest in coins, can by making an attractive offer or in other ways that can be an attraction for investors. |

the top altcoins will surely survive, but the other altcoins with actually no future will not. there is a lot of altcoin in the market without actual use, so I think, those kind of altcoin will end.

Mostly of alt can survive especially if the technology is at good risk. Altcoin definitely survive even though bitcoins pumps up because there are some people see and believe some of altcoin are growth, and they think also and believed that this can give a return and make profit of their investment. This is why altcoins will survive

I think altcoin will last but the chances will be small.
If the price of Bitcoin soars so many people will choose to exchange their altcoin into Bitcoin.
If many people are selling altcoin then altcoin value will actually go down.
Altcoin can only survive if there are still many who use it.
That is the result of my thinking if I am not right to hope someone adds.

Many altcoins are made with a different purpose in mind and some will survive while others won't. Altcoin survive like a bitcoin it is not easy because so many competitors but of course other altcoin will survive as long as there are investors investing in an altcoin.

Utility tokens must be the ones that will mostly survive. I don't see much tokens that aimed straight for its usefulness but maybe those exchange tokens like the midex tokens.
