I would prefer that bitcoins to get higher than lower. Even though both results in dipping of altcoins value, at least with increasing btc value, the fiat value of altcoins also increases even though the sats value may decrease.  i think of course alt coins will survive if bitcoin survives. everybody should understand that there is direct relation with bitcoin and altcoins. if something happens to bitcoin then we lose all the crypto currency market.

The strong and good coins will survive but decent coins or abandoned coins won't get any market activity. Even there are so many altcoins now but the survivor only for coins that have a bright future.
