read the official avalon bitcoin wiki

The information can be found here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon

You can also find the information by google "avalon fuse bitcoin" Its gonna redirect you to the wiki and the information is there.

Thanks for creating a new thread that could've been solved with google in 2 minutes.

As a teaser... it was sending too much power to some usb related part, and clipping/removing the fuse prevents power to that USB port.  The port becomes unusable... but the rig is much less likely to catch on fire and start cursing at you and stop hashing (in that order).

This was only an issue on the early Batch 2 Avalons.  I think only the 20 "test shipment" units.

Batch 1 and later Batch 2 do not have the issue.

jesus he was only asking a question.  take it easy, not everyone is as smart as you.  I hope you never have children.  Actually, I hope you never have sex (with women, at least, I give you permission to have all the gay buttsecks that you want).

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.
