For the simple explaining is because of the price of bitcoin is going down, so all of the alternative coins follow the bitcoin's price too, we know that the bitcoin is main digital coins, it is first digit coin in the world be used for price reference to all of the alternative coins. For the complex explain about the alternative coins price is going down, it depending on the aspects of fundamental alternative coins due to right now not all of alternative coins are going down, we can see dashcoin is up trend although the price of bitcoin is down, don't be fear the price will be going up again. |

The prices will go up again.. the prices fluctuate every so often and they all seem to follow certain patterns.
But the coins shall come back more powerful with stronger prices. It might just take a little bit of time again.

It's simple, if the whales took their profit (DUMP), they will re-invest and the coins will start the pumping procedure again.
It's a cycle, what goes up, must come down and then go up again.

Alts actually grow.But much slower then bitcoin.
And alts lose value in BTC too....so for me since may was much more profitable to hold BTC unfortunately.

Yes your point is valid "Its better to make early exit" because everyday i am waiting for some good thing to happen in my altcoin portfolio but everyday its going even worse thinking to sell all my holding and take rest for some time. |

Yes the coins are dropped quickly but I think the amount of coins will not go down shortly afterwards its price will rise again and I think it will be much stronger. |

They definitely are going to. What is happening right now is normal in the market. BTC is taking a huge correction at the moment, so you should expect a lot of traders and whales trying to take their profits. In case like this, Alts normally have it bad as well as they really get dump for traders to move in to the quick show to cash in on another upward movement on bitcoin until everything gets stable for a while. |

Yeah, we shouldn't be afraid though almost everything is turning red today, all prices will go up soon again, but which we don't know when? I cash out some of my bitcoin because I want to buy something important, and I'm lucky I cash it out at more higher rate and I can tell it is one good decision. But I still left more of my bitcoin because I believe bitcoin price will soon go to $12,000. Just guessing!  |

it is because of bitcoin price increases so it makes altcoin price going down. but after bitcoin price down then the time for altcoin will come and we can see the price will increase again. don't too worried about altcoin price now because it will rise back so we can sell at the high price. but I am sure that another altcoin trying to increase although bitcoin price increases too. |

they are getting dumped mostly. as bitcoin rises it is like a needle that pops all their bubbles with a single move. and traders know this already so they act faster and cash out before the bubbles burst.
afterwards as the drops start and prices come down the second step of dumping starts by the newbies who were bag holding and are not scared so they dump and crash the prices further down.
