I don't think it would be a dilemma for a long-term investor. They deserved it, they believe in Bitcoin, and they deserved to be rewarded. I'm sure most of the long-term investor will reinvest the profit they got, and take partially the profit for their own need, or maybe just taking out the initial investment.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I am again trying not to sell the bitcoin I have, if I will be paid from other sources to cover my living expenses. Bitcoin could spend $ 1,000,000 in 3-4 years so holding bitcoin for the next few years would be a wise decision. Do not sell your bitcoin at such a cheap price right now. You will also find it difficult to collect the same amount of bitcoin in the future when the price will be high again. Cool

In my opinion, you should sell your bitcoins in the end of this year. And a little advice, determine for what money you are ready to sell bitcoin and wait for this price.

Hey guys, I've decided to ask you - what whould you do in this problemmatic situation?

Suppose you have some bitcoins (let's say 22) and you bought them / got them a few years ago very cheap, and now you see it's price and.... what to do?!! Will you take the profit and go away, or sit and hold further? Suppose you're not going to buy more. But when to sell?

well the nature of crypto including BTC is that you may never know when they will take a dip or gain value, if you are only in for the profit then sell and get out when you still can. Passionate investors however will hold on, as we have seen Bitcoin gaining value after a dip on more than one occasion.

Bitcoin is being proved that as an amazing creation in the world of digital currency there is many ups and downs in this cryptoworld. Since Bitcoin has made millions of peoples trust there are are different type of opinion in the mind of people that is one group believe that Bitcoin is an asset and not to be used as currency the other group think that Bitcoin will stop the fiat currency and bring people to financial freedom.

if I am in that position I choose to keep hold and wait even though ever, and I still buy the bitcoin, because my thinking, where the price goes down there will be a price rise, so I remain patient to hold and wait for the expensive price and I do not will give up to wait.
Choosing to hold back is not an easy option as there is certainly a lot of pressure coming in as the market price continues to bleeding makes you even more frightened to hold. I'm sure yesterday many people are dilemma to continue holding or selling. and lucky people like you are still holding your bitcoin because today the market is starting to get green. hopefully this will continues..

Holding bitcoin is the best thing to do if you are very optimistic about bitcoins, but if you doubt, then you can simply withdraw it and do things you wanted to acquire. That is already your profit anyway... 22btc is already a huge money... Do something great for your hard earnings:)

I think only 10% of people will be strong to hold BITCOIN from 2011 - now.

most of them do trade in the market but now have begun to grow the principle of bitcoin resistant krn already began to seem significant increase in the price significantly.

if i for now buy bitcoin and save up to several years ahead

I will sell for 12 btc when the price is at $19k yesterday because I cannot wait to see the price increase higher but I will buy another bitcoin again especially at this time. I think we need to know the good time to sell and don't be greedy otherwise our profit will be gone and we will be regret so we can take the profit and enjoy what we earn. I will hold the rest until I can see another highest price again so I can make another high profit.

The best time to sell your bitcoin is whenever there are no more supplies. That's the time the pricing of bitcoin will go higher than you expected. Because the supply will go down and the demand will go up.

I will hold further and probably sell when blockchain adoption is more than half of our population.
Blockchain is here to say, I'm gambling on Bitcoin and other coins that is why.

The concept is, Holding or selling bitcoin is always a difficult decision because bitcoin value is not fixed and if there is no need of extra money then i will go for holding  but in case i need some extra money then i will sell all my coins in available price. There's no need to dump them all at this current price. As far as altcoins, yes, I would agree that is good as a investment,
so when prices are volatile like now you are still doing a sale and purchase coins? because you need extra money? what if the price is below the price you bought earlier, will you still hold your coin? I feel the current dilemma because bitcoin price is currently below the price I bought earlier. whether I should cutlose and buy at a lower price again or keep holding

The best time for me is anytime which gives you profit and you need that because this is for what you have invested in the first place. If there is less supply in the market and you sell your bitcoin and you don’t want to sell, then you will end up wasting the time as well an opportunity which could take you towards bigger profit. Therefore, first comes you and your needs and then comes the market and the supply and demand of the market.

Maybe for profesional trader have not problem about that.Cause a professional trader knows exactly when he will invest or sell and not only see from the rise and fall of bitcoin prices. Because basically bitcoin is not only used in one market. I think every trader always see the total supply in every market. But always keep using the basic formula, buy when prices fall and sell when prices rise ^^

if you now have already much profit, why don't you sell it already ?
if the price at the time you bought is far from the current price, i suggest you to sell it.
but the market is on the red right now.

As these days I actually have stated somewhat concerning bitcoin and additionally the electronic currency advertise. the information that bitcoin tends to diminish and completely different altcoins area unit comparative. i believe putt resources into altcoins straight away is not a wise thought. I figure we must provide each one of the coins we tend to must be monetarily secure. that's my recommendation and that i trust you'll be able to look it exactly.

If I had that kind of holding right now, I think I'm going to cash out the half and invest it on a business I want. And the remaining bitcoin I will just hold it for a while hoping that the will still going to pump every year.

I think we should sell bitcoins when they are at $ 11k. That's an average price of bitcoin and you should not be greedy. This is a market where we do not know what their future will be like and we never evaluate the true price of these altcoins. If you invest, that means you're gambling. Investing in cryptocurrency is no precise basis, it is easy to lose all your assets.

This totally depends on the risk you are willing to take , and whether you already established a good knowledge about the cryptocurrencies field or not .
Someone invested enough in cryptos won't think a second about ceasing this opportunity to start trading and investing , more skeptical people will use the easy way : holding .
But the fools (with all due respect ) will give away their fortune - and i'm using give away not sell because it's the case ! they are giving it for less than 10% of it's potential value - , and unless you ain't in any critical situation , keeping your coins will be by far more ideal than selling them !
