Black Arrow is starting the manufacture of Avalon Hashing Units for our customers.

We have manufactured all required PCBs and purchased all parts required to make the Avalon units, except the ASICs.

Note: The price does not include the Avalon ASICs. We do not have our own ASICs and the customer is required to send them to us. We will dispatch the Avalon ASIC Hashing Unit 10 to 14 days after we've received the customer's ASICs.

If you do not want to send us your ASICs, we can sell the hashing unit without ASICs and you can solder the chips by yourself. Warranty is provided only for our work.

Group buys are not accepted.

Order here: https://www.cardreaderfactory.com/shop/avalon-asic-unit.html

Delivery Time when you get the asics?

It's on the website provided, 10-14 days after they receive your chips.

Very expensive though.

I haven't run the numbers but please show me your math, it doesn't sound right. Did you notice you need to provide your own chips and the price is for assembly only?

Sorry for the confusion. It is not assembly only, we provide all other parts. Customer needs to provide only the ASICs.

3500$ Assembly and parts
320* 7$ (price per Asic with 90$ per BTC) 2250
70$ shipping
300$ powersupply
~ 6100$
~ 68BTC

60BTC if you mine with actual diff per Month and 85 gh/s
overclocking to 110gh/s 78BTC

ok some diff drop but round about 1 Month ROI.

It looks like you have reconsidered building an ASIC machine. It's good to have multiple ASIC suppliers. The reason I'm curious is because you noted in a previous thread that "After this backlash we decided to mine ourselves. Happy mining everybody!"

Definitely good to have more options out there, especially from a builder with a good track record. Personally I'm still turned off by the price. Would be nice to see lower prices, a test unit mining and some overclocking numbers.

Can you list some prices for the non-hashing components?
Modified Router?
Controller board?
PDU?
Straight Cables?
Replacement Hi-performance fans?

Thanks!

Ah, he ran away after I brought up the price issue and the actual money people would probably make (or should I say not make) on these.

Now hes come back under a new thread title with a somewhat lower price. I guess he wasn't really going to mine on his own like he said he would.

BlackArrow - check pm please.  I'm trying to find out if it'd be possible to get a controller board (or more than one) such boards from you.

I would love to buy a assembled controller  board. Rev 1.5a? With fixed fuse problem.

btw you are selling the alu heatspreader and you should mention more infos about it. Is it for batch one or two? They have different drill holes to mount it in the case.

Rev 1.5.
Will start selling it assembled after it passes our tests.

It is the latest heatsink. We've made it according to the specifications from github.
