What is the version of Ubuntu? and did you follow the procedure exactly like in the guide? (see below)

Can I build a qt wallet on Ubuntu 17.10? I have the Masternode server ready to go on Ubuntu 16.04 (as the instructions specify), but for the wallet, there needs to be a build-able version for the desktop users like myself. My SUCR is resting on an exchange right now until I can get them into a personal wallet.

Anyone on Ubuntu get a wallet working?

Hi, dont use 17.10 you wont be able to compile daemon, use version 16 and MN guide (the link is in the ANN) and you wull start your MN without problems
