hard to say, it all depends on what place bitcoin will have in our society at that moment
yeah I think it will depend on certain conditions, maybe when bitcoin prices have stopped rising. then yes. I will sell the bitcoin on the spot. but if bitcoin still has the possibility to grow again then I will hold it longer. like now I still hold it for a higher price

I don't have much of bitcoin to sell it below $100,000 - and will probably do this one year after.
Still have some doubts.. Maybe $200,000 will be a better point?
Please give an advice, your opinion is important!!

PS. It's not a joke. Please be realistic while estimating..
Gonna bring up this topic close to X-Mas 2018.

any one want want so if price growth more than 100,000 will find someone say i will hold and wait 150,000$

I will definitely sell my bitcoin for a $100,000 price because there is no people that will continue to hold bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is $100,000 because that is like winning the lottery and it is great if you will grab it rather than not so i think that it is a very great choice to just sell bitcoin to that price.

$100,000 is not anywhere near and we do not see it happening in next 2 to 3 years. So why we should be worry about anything which is 2 t o3 years away and why we make plans for that. For me, the current price is good. If you have your urgent needs sell now and fulfill your desires, else save it for future.

To those of you who would sell bitcoin at 100k, i would assume most of you have at least 1 bitcoin right?

Because if you only have say 0.1 bitcoin, assume you won't sell until much later right?

Why not, its a big amount  $100,000 its not easily gained by any altcoins. Its better to sell it cause its a one time chance only if you miss ot maybe it will going down cause it reaches a high price. Smiley

If i have so much reserve of bitcoin i think i would sell 1bitcoin, $100,000 is a lot of money to have and i can buy house and lot and cars that i like.
But if i only have 1bitcoin i rather just hold it and get much more out of its value in the future.

Yes if my kid goes to college and needs the money or something like that. Otherwise, I'll hold.

It's a critical decision because the value is very important. However, the person who wants to buy is definitely not crazy, and most likely he is a big investor who is following a well-studied model. But, I will absolutely sell my bitcoins, since this last will take at least 5 years to achieve this value and my goals with the bitcoin are all short-term because I'm still a student. And the most likely scenario is that I will regret this choice after a very short time.

If Bitcoin value get to $100,000 it then means that the there wouldn't any need for one to convert it to any fait currency because Bitcoin would be more accepted world over as a means payment for goods and services as compared to local fiat currency.

I find it funny when people talk about "when will you sell your bitcoin?"

It's a mentality that marginalizes the value of Bitcoin. You sound like you just think Bitcoin is an investment. You sound like you're only in this for what you can grow your fiat wealth to.

If you're really committed to Bitcoin and the idea and the fundamental shift it presents to the world, the freedom of money (as we have freedom of ideas), then there is no "selling your Bitcoin". You are committed to the action of always holding Bitcoin...at least until you need to use it to buy something for your daily life. Maybe it's gas, maybe it's a house.

I don't think we'll see another 10x+ run in 2018. We need greater adoption among people to fuel another run like we've seen in 2017. The best thing for Bitcoin in 2018 is stabilizing its value at $10,000 or so. This demonstrates that Bitcoin is not in a bubble, that it's not a fraud, that it's not to be outlawed, as those in the press, wall street, and government are claiming right now.

If you're thinking about what's the right price to liquidate your Bitcoin for fiat you're missing the point

Sure, man you're right!
But now it's too late to buy weed for BTC and too early to buy a house  Grin
And I'm not sure that bitcoin will be so well-implemented (esp. in "third-world? countries) that we could buy realty without converting it to fiat within few next years.
If you are living in an expensive country unless you have a good amount of bitcoin buying a house is impossible but in poor countries with the price of bitcoin you could buy a decent house with 3 or 4 bitcoins, that is not a lot so the only thing missing is major adoption.

Well, you still have a lot of time actually before your price target will be achieved. So do not trouble yourself yet about when to exit from your Bitcoins. Bitcoin's price will not just shoot to $100,000 overnight. While waiting for that price to materialize, you better look for some other ways to create some more additional Bitcoins to your portfolio. About a better point, I think it comes when you least know it. Time will come you really need some money.

At some point you have to cash out - take the money. It is higher than most people thought it would ever go and hype is at an all time high. Question is will it continue.

Look at the stock market, stocks like Amazon or Apple, similar - and they keep going up. Maybe this will be the same thing!

I believe Bitcoin will increase in the future but I will sell it soon if its the price as I expected. Perhaps now Bitcoin hoarding is too risky, it can disappear at any time. Therefore, I think you should choose the right time to invest and sell Bitcoin.
