Alright time for me to look like a newbie, I just got a shiny D3 and before i flip any switches I wanted to make sure I didn't mess anything up with my coordination of cables. Using the Bitmains Powersupply you get 4 bundles of cables, two are single and the other two are 4 each for a total of 10 pcie plugs. the D3 takes 10 plugs in total, a match made in heaven.
The D3 has 3 rows of 3 and a final single pcie slot on top.
Now here is my question does it matter how these are plugged in? I am only worried since I haven't dealt with server style psu and I am not sure how the 12v rail works on this and if there are multiple rails.
Please if you have experience with this setup let me know, thanks.
just power the box either across or up and down...way I did mine was make sure the cables that were not single were on separate rows and then matched up the singles across the row.
