Hey,

I'm looking to join a mining pool so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for the best mining software (Windows or Mac)

Cheers,

Derebeyi.
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

What are you mining with?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Nothing currently, I'm still looking for the best software to use! I have a fairly powerful computer but no specialised equipment as yet.

Well your getting the cart in front of the horse just a bit.

But CGMiner is definitely a good, if not the best, choice for mining program.

Probably need to decide which mining hardware you want to use and what coin you, primarily, want to mine first though.

If you're GPU mining BTC, I suggest BAMT.

I'm mining Litecoin right now. I'm using the 12.8 AMD Driver on Windows via cgminer. Once I get my ASIC BTC tech, I'll be using cgminer.

In most cases, I highly suggest cgminer.
