There will be great general interest around the product when it is available for purchase.
The comparison will be 375 bucks for a 2 chip BFL that is running 8 Gh/s. If you can do a 4 chip solution running 16 Gh/s for 500 bucks you will sell more than you can make. At 1000 bucks you wont sell any. (BFL will catch up with orders one day...)

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The guy's more than capable at programming he's made quite a sweet looking Eruptor Beagle board miner, but PCB and chip assembly is an unknown, plus anything remotely connected to BFL is considered extremely risky...
Too bad can't get some Bitfury chips in that.

As you may or may not know we're currently shipping BeagleBone Black based mining hosts, the MineNinja.
I'm considering developing an add-on board for the BeagleBone (known as a "cape" in Beagleease) that would contain 4 BFL ASICs. It would use the BeagleBone to control the ASICs via SPI, and would also run MineNinja, so it would be a turn-key, no host needed mining solution. Realistically we would be able to get these built and be ready to ship at the beginning of October. Pricing for the complete system would be somewhere between $500-$1000, depending on how many units are committed for the first run.
Any interest?
interested. i have 3500 chips ordered. where are you located? oh wait, you participated in my group buys, right?

Might be a little pricey by October? If Avalon ships, the Klondike boards are quite less than that, no?

Very very interested, if anyone is still following this thread. I'd have to take the "roof" off my BeagleBone but that's a sacrifice I'd be more than happy to make. (Sorry, I bought my BBB from Adafruit, but I still think the MineNinja is awesome. I'm considering getting a MineNinja and tasking my current BBB with non-mining-related stuff.)
