I think the whole issue is based on this article opinion and I am fully in support of it. There is a general battle of survival for all the major cryptocurrency. It's only the fittest that will survive. If Ethereum refused to do something about their Blockchain it will fail.

Yes. If we take account eth price from.the past two years, and consider that trend, 1000$ is just to low but still a good value. Who would have thought that bitcoin from 900$ last year could go as much as 16,000$ this year? Same idea as ethereum but with a more chance since it is widely used.
