20-40k by month end? Any reason for such a prediction, I think that's way too unrealistic and we'd be lucky to see a price much higher than 12k. 15k is possible maybe.

The current price stands at $11k USD and you are saying that it would reach at $20-40k by the end of month,from where does you get such news which seems to be totally unrealistic and impossible.Don't go beyond imaginations and speculate wisely and you will realize that it could reach a maximum of $13000 by end of month and it will take a dip afterwards. This price seems possible next year but its too early prediction which cannot be turned into reality by moving magic stick and bump the price to that level.

I like the optimistic nature of how bullish the predictions recently are, but in some cases things are just too far off to become reality within the given time frame. At most, I see an attampt towards $20,000 before the end of this year, but that's really it. If we do happen to reach $20,000 this year, it translates into a growth of 2000%!! It gives all stock/bond/gold,etc investors wet pants by just thinking about it. People like quick increases I get it, but I add value to a more stable (sustainable) form of growth. For now, the only thing that can get the price to correct, likely for a brief period, is a rejection of CME's Bitcoin futures. In that case, we still have Nasdaq to function as backup, which I believe will lower the urge to create a massive sell-off.

It seems to me that a lot of people think bitcoin is God. They think that they bought the lucky ticket and is now having in the wallet 1 bitcoin can live the rest of their days as rich men. Bitcoin will continue to rise indefinitely. It seems to me that this is not just a mistake. This increases the likelihood that the price of bitcoin will collapse.

are you saying about Bitcoin price will sto at $10.300 ? or when we're reaching it or around this $20k~$40k,
bitcoin will moving downward and stop at $10.300 in the future and never go up again ??
we may be can see it around $20.000 if it's listing on CME group's futures,
usually when we heard about that kind of news the price is spiking in a single day afterward the price retracing back to its own average price.
well everything can be happen with it,
but i do not hope to see it happen because it will only lead us to bubble other than healthy grow which is not really a good sign for bitcoin for future

For some prediction he would put some link or reference from someone that was mentioned, but even this price is good, but on other side its good to be optimistic in any way so for this i will go for 12-13k by years end. Its to optimistic and wild for price of single bitcoin comes to over 20 grand in single month.

Some news saying that amount of money waiting to flow in BTC is over 10$ billion,and this will for sure pump price pretty much above 10k$.

The element of volatility is there but 20k-40k by the end of the month is a longshot i don't see happening, that's like twice its value or four times of what it is today...$15k would have sounded better but I wouldn't mind seeing the forecast coming to pass.

CME is going to take bitcoin to the next level when it comes to speculation, but we will need to wait and see how much of this establishes a new paradigm or just a tower of cards that could crash.

Nasdaq is also getting in for the first time ever in the future market with bitcoin which weird. It points to me that they are hyped about bitcoin and expecting a big rise.

The money needed for BTC to hit $40k in a month is tiny compared to the volume these institutions move, which is trillions a day.

I personally wouldn't like to see such a steep rise, because maintaining it would be hard.

Can't Imagine how many corrections will happen when it hit that price before it gets stable. Too much positive news were released in the last 24 hours, CME launch of bitcoin futures in Decemebr 18, MC Donalds to start accepting bitcoin as payment by 2018 and a statement from James Altucher's 10 predictions about where bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are headed. Can't wait what will happen later specially it is a weekend and almost all of the price increase in bitcoin occur during weekends. I thought the year is already ending, it seems that we will really start the new year with a bang in the crypto world.

It will be one or two corrections with price little lower then 10k, but this is very bold and maybe ridiculous for bitcoin price to reach and even breach price of 20k this year.
Little to optimistic in my personal opinion is this price range.

i think you always go overboard with your "predictions" about price of everything. i usually see your topics and they seem to have two main factors: first one is a big range like here where you say 20K and twice than value meaning 40k!!
also they always seem unrealistic, at least to me.

When you do say about bottom then you are probably mentioning the support since resistance are place on peak prices which is mostly considered as roof or ATH on bitcoins price and i agree on what you have said here on which most predictions of this guy is too way unrealistic for me specially you do mention on hitting up for this end of the month or on the year of 2017.This is too much actually.

Nothing impossible with Bitcoin price but above $20k is a bit exaggerated.
I think that $13k is a good price to reach by the middle of December and $15k to begin the year with it

Well, even when John McAfee said it would be at $5,000 by the end of this year, it has now become $11k, so I suppose even those who predicted the grand total of $10,000 by 2017 will now think, hey maybe even $20,000 is possible.

But today, the big news of Bitcoin futures pushed it past $11k, only to stop short of the ATH. I really can't see another big news in the next four weeks that can do even better. Let's all be happy with 11-12k for New Year's Eve!

Hmm. I doubt that we can get to $20,000 this month or at the end of the year. Realistically, around $12,000-$15,000 can be attained but that's too far stretched. The must awaited $20,000 could be break though in 2018. Although there is a news that CME has already announced its bitcoin future contracts starting on Dec. 18, I don't think that it can push it to $20,000. Demand is there, but it will take a huge chunks of cash to flow in the market to achieved it and I don't know what will be source of this such huge amount to get into the ecosystem. I agree that we should all be contented and happy if $12,000 is achieved this year. And wait till 2018 and see if this bull run will continue. I wouldn't be surprise though if this continue, because the sentiments is still high and very bullish.
