I think Bitcoin will continue to have downward trends and fluctuations, but in the end the prices will rise as it keeps getting more and more difficult to mine.

I reckon to play it properly the word hasnt reached that many people yet regarding bitcoins.
surely the price fluctuating will be due to more people recieving there ASICs and selling there btc off...
people need to understand that just like money it increases and decreases depending on demand for it.

If more business started selling products and limiting that specific product to bitcoin then surely we will see something in the future of this project.

I think $50 is a good guess at it's bottom.  I'd be really surprised if it went lower.  The people saying $10 or less need to stay off the silk road (ie stop smoking crack).  There's at least some non-speculative demand that will keep the price somewhere above that.  Also, as the price gets lower, the chances of there being a rally becomes more and more likely as speculators and hardcore believers take advantage of a good buying opportunity.

Bitcoin has to be accepted by many merchants in order to set up it's currency role as well as stability. We'v been seeing people buying and selling for bitcoins only for investment, if this is not minimized, another ponzi.

They will become either incredibly valuable or be just another coin - on the road to a world that is heading in one direction - a true digital economy.
