Is Cardano ADA the next Ethereum?

NEVER, ADA does not even come close, is a bit an offense for ETH. Mass overproduced coins makes me nervous.

People said that NEO would be the next ethereum, this is a way to boost a new coin. ETC is the copy of ethereum. ethereum will have  new competiotors but most users tend to use eth, you can see most ICO use eth platform. even waves has good model of token creation, in fact Waves are not favorite for ICO developers because there are fake token in the dex, dex platform is not user friendly.

ADA haven't even surpassed the ethereum classic. This article just has a purpose to shilled the ADA project. The cofounder of the ethereum behind the project doesn't mean if the basically the ada project will become big as ethereum. It seems the ada project has created in other way from ethereum. Just like the ADA will be issued the card. This is like the payment based project.

To compare with Ethereum, you are comparing not only the technology but also the ecosystem. For example, the D'apps and business running on the platform, development resources available, minging power distribution, leadership and roadmap. There might be one or two area that ADA was designed to excel but until we see the adoption rate going up, it's not even worth making the comparison. Even I am interested in many ethereum challenger like NEO, EOS and ADA, but I don't think they can match ethererum's ecosystem yet.

This coin "ADA" keeps flying and maintaining good position in the exchange market. Am keeping a close watch and may buy some down to see what it becomes next year 2018. Though it would take it some time to stand up with the Queen- ETH.

Fucking the ADA coin in this thread here, again ADA is not a godlike currency; theyve been holding my little fund of 135K because of what so-called their tech issue, ive been working with several attorneys to sue them, you don't know that theyve been registering many shell companies around the world and just do the trick of marketing, sales to sell their non-valued legal coins, no practical technical contribution in their effort to our society, they even faked their team profile and recently be caught in red-handed related to money laundering in using customer funds  Cry; @guys don't get trapped by their business plan and feed these kind of japanese scammers FAT     Be a wisdom investor guys, if you have enough $$$, invest LTC and TRX !

It is too early to say that he will be the next ethereum because they haven't done anything yet and everything is only on paper.

wow why do you all think that this is going to be the next ethereum? It is very far away from being the next ethereum guys..

ADA is built with serious technology (haskell) and the team looks great; They can be seen in many Youtube vids and Twitter pic posts so they look real to me!

This is a staking coin so it is not mined - people will want lots when staking kicks in.

Checkout the Github pages and see how active these guys are in changing the face of this space.

They have links to many academic institutions with crypto being treated as a science - many detailed docs on their website!

This coin was created with a goal to address many of the design flaws in some of the major coins out there so potentially a serious ETH contender!!!

This project looks great, and the future looks bright for the development of this coin.

Sounds to me more like a science experiment than an attempt to compete with the old guards. For something to go from 600m marketcap to 10bn marketcap just from being listed on bittrex is mental and people are going to get a nasty shock when they realize none of these X coin replacements are going anywhere and the price tanks,

ADA is growing faster then i imagine. And this is shown on price rise.
I hold few ADA coins and will hold at least they hit ethereum price. ADA is a promising project and needs more attention.

When it got listed on bittrex this coin exploded, and that is one of the main reasons of why it has been pumped so hard during the last few days.

I still remember when it got listed in coinmarketcap. It suddenly apperead between the top 15 and 20 and it screwed me up.

Maybe it is a good coin, i would never know that, a lot of people are saying that this is just going to be the BOOM of the 2018, but i still have my doubts about it.

Lets just give it some time until we can discover what are going to be the new features about cardano.

I heard that they were selected by google for X kind of project, i dont know if it was true at all.

The declaration of its ambitions isn’t enough for becoming one the most influential cryptocurrency system in the world. Of course Cardano has own tweak in technology Ouroboros but as we see investor are not very interested in it.

It is a free world bro and because someone is asking if ADA is the next Ethereum does not make it the next Ethereum already. Do you have any idea the number of coins fighting for that position ?

If you really want to invest, I will advise you take a look at their website, team and make decisions based on that.

cardano is not the next ethereum.. its going to be something bigger than ethereum, while co-existing with ethereum and building eth dApps to operate with cardano protocol

cardano is going to be way better than ethereum.. saying its the next ethereum is offensive for a project like that
why? because the biggest thing about ethereum is its hype around ICO's...
its slow, not scaling not secure and has many disadvantages that cardano already covered

it will take time for cardano to develop, but its going to be greater than ethereum for sure, and used for more serious applications than etheruem

its already taking part in few research programs for usecases
for example i dont see govt use ethereum to store data or something
while cardano is written in high assurance code and peer reviewed, its high likely that govt can use it for important things

We  can never tell unless the features they are boasting are already available.  Ethereum is already been tested like bitcoin. In opinion NEO would be the close competitor or Ethereum in the near future.

The fly was a result of the listing. It is normal to see such happen, most especially when they first get listed on a very common and well used exchange. However, this does not mean that a little pinch can still bring it down and it is too early to start comparing this coin to Ethereum. They still have a lot to take care of and even though I am a little optimistic about them, I still have some of my doubts.

Pretty early! Just because the market was pumped does not mean it won't go back down and we all know the reason was because it was listed on bittrex. People these days judge a project based on the value going up and not the main idea of the project, how good the team are and how well they can really get things done. So many coins have tried this kind of shit in the past and where are they now ?

I think Cardano has good potential to be a big hit in the space, but it is too early to be comparing it with Ethereum, for now Ethereum has dapps running on it though their is a big problem of scaling but this is not perculiar to Ethereum almost all these blockchain apps are having this problem

I think no. The ethereum is the future. No coin can replace it yet.
