The problem for UK debt collectors will be the lack of an address and also the fact that it's second hand debt.

It's fine if someone wants to personally collect but legitimate debt collection agencies aren't going to want to take this on.

If this post was useful, interesting or entertaining, then you've misunderstood.

Just so it's clear, I am not endorsing, condoning, or suggesting anything illegal in the collection of this debt.

What if someone really stole his ID?

Extremely unlikely. As I said in the OP, there are several unique language markings that provide a link between his forum account here and what he's posted elsewhere on the internet. A language analysis would confirm this.

You can read the threads for yourself, if you're serious about bidding, I can provide even more info/thoughts via pm.

PMs replied to. I have done some work on this, but much of the data gathering, strategy, and collection will need to be done. If I had done many of these things, I would simply fly to the U.K. and collect my 10,000 GBP through the court system myself or hire an agency. There is substantial value here and the potential of BTC200 worth of GDP but you will need to do the work to obtain it. There are many ways to extract value here with little investment but without wanting to "show the cards" so to speak (if DI is, infact lurking here) you will need to PM me if you are interested in my thoughts.

Double Icaras, from the bitcoin london "scam." I'm not sure how much you loaned him. He goes to gaming events in Japan occasionally.

If this DI kid was smart he'd pay $20 for the debt himself and bury it lol.

If I was in the UK I'd be on this but alas.  Good luck with the auction anyway
