Any possibilities for a 13k run since there is a new fork in BTC ?

It is just me or I'm missing something here? What fork are you talking here and care to give us the link?

And if indeed there is a new fork on the horizon, there is no guarantee that it can push the price to $13K. We can get to $13K, I have to doubt about it but its how we get there. Bitcoin future contracts alone for me is generally positive to the market that can push the price to this levels.

That's possible. I see some huge announcement recently like CME to add Bitcoin to their platform. CME is known major financial market in the world. This is a huge announcement for Bitcoin this year and expect other major financial markets to follow in the future like NASDAQ or NYSE. I think $13k is very achievable. Right now it's price is already at $11k+. It's just 2 grand to achieve that. Tha is small if were to ask. Actually im predicting Bitcoin to hit $15k before this year ends. In addition for this, is the upcoming hardfork. I think it will happen at the mid of this month.

Exactly, it will be very interesting to see financial institutions implement their bitcoin future contracts like CME is doing. Although is too early to tell, but it opens the doors for institutional money to flow into the bitcoin ecosystem. As far as price manipulations, there's that possibility, that's why we need to be very careful as well.

This is normal for me cause my targets are above 100.000 USD for long term. Don't be blind bitcoin will hit this level for sure.

all of them just keep holding and watch the price move up? it is a sure thing the real 'point' of bitcoin invention will slowly disappeared. bitcoin gonna be like stocks , yes a digital stock. high price = high fee , the fork needed and repeat.

This year great things happened to bitcoin as it crossed every landmark which was seen untouched and at the current time anything could happen.$13k or $15k anything is possible although there are fluctuations in the market from few days but it will surpass that target very easily so join the community and HODL it and wait for the bumps to begin. The fork about which you are talking cannot crash btc market but can give a boost to market cap but still some clever minded will try to turn it down in order to create pump and dump situation as happened earlier also in August this year but have faith in btc and its power.

Likely it will, it's not a question of "if" but more of a question of "when" it will hit $13,000. I would say that it would be extremely possible to hit it before the end of the year and we'll definitely see more pumps by 2018. I even think that we can even hit an all time high of $250,000 by 2018. So we should consider saving as much bitcoins as we can as it would be extremely expensive in the future.

That's crazy thing to happen with bitcoin. Although $13k is far from it price today, but I believe there is a possibilities to reach since the trend of bitcoin is growing.
Hardfork implementation with bitcoin is really get some worries to the community because it really affect its price in the market. Not only for bitcoin alone but it will affect the entire crypto community. There is a rumors that there will be a hardfork within this month and early next year.

That's not far from reality since bitcoin's price has almost reach 12K USD now. If only bitcoin will continue to have a price hike like that, there is a chance that it will reach 13K USD per bitcoin.

all the possibility is sure to happen to bitcoin but it makes sense to predict bitcoin prices to reach $ 13,000 by the end of this year, although ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays i don't think this will have much effect on reduction of bitcoin prices. . But decline will always happen in the big day because it allows them to do bitcoin sales in preparation for celebrating the big day.

If it's happen as like you said, the price of bitcoin will reach 20,000$ within this year end. The price of bitcoin will steadily increase,their will not up's and down. All need this up's and down to inverse in bitcoin and to sell the holding bitcoin. The price of bitcoin will reach 13000$ before the end of this month .To make huge profit you can hold your bitcoin till this year end.

Bitcoin is definitely going to hit $13,000 before end of this year and I think this may happen by the next push. The price has not do too well today and I expect a serious bullish market after this corrections today. I had about the hardfork but I think that is not the reason why price is going up but I think acceptability is the reason why Bitcoin is going up.

13k is too low, I personally believe BTC will hit up to 15k in the near future if no dump occurs. If only a correction, I'm sure 15k will be hit. If that happens maybe we can see 13k-15k by the end of this year.

No fork is coming yet so it must be reaching to $13k but if there is a price manipulation it might reach to $15k before the end of the month. But there's no fork coming yet in any sources so it must hit $13k before or after this month.

Others are even speculating more than that price and even exaggerated and this one is a very close to reality price of bitcoin. I'd rather believe on this guess soon rather than those hundreds of thousands for just speculating while we are not getting near to that expected price.

You can say that again, they are speculating so much with a more predicted value, I really think we can sure make it that far but for now we should stick to the possible and sure price we can land on for now, and a calculation of $15,000 to $16,000 at the end of this year, I really think we are heading in a correction for now then bitcoin will st foot to a new Bullish track.

We did head a correction last few times and bitcoin is sticking to it's current value of $11,000 once it reached $12,000 and managed to surpassed quick at $13,000. It will lead to another correction and at the end of the year it may be possible that we can be at $13,000 or $14,000 but still if it will be good at $16,000 that's much better.

A big possibilities ! When I used to read like these question or speculation, I get excited to see those price in bitcoin.
If This will be like BTG and much faster than that then maybe we can expect the price to hit $13k.

The truth is that it´s growing fast but I do not know if it's going to stay the same after the fork,maybe there are chances that the price can return to $10K levels or so,or maybe what you say may also happen  and on some point the price can reach those record high figures.

Even without any forks it can reach that number.
It aint about those forks that makes it pump. They are just making it all worse by dividing the investors and putting some money in those new coins.
You might want to consider a fall if there is a fork instead or a rise.

Forks do help bitcoin to get some buffed for it's price. I do believe that bitcoin will be hitting $13,000 soon and it's possible for this month.

And that's the best thing to do now, if you are believing to this speculation or you have enough to keep for more years just be patient cos' it will be the best decision that you did ever done to your life. Possible that it can be higher than $13,000.

There is a very big possibility that we will see bitcoin hit $13,000 this year but if not maybe at the very first week of January 2018. Price starting to be close to $12,000 now and that will be a $1,000 difference for what you are expecting OP.

I believe we can achieve that difference of $1k by the begiNing of second quarter of 2018 if we look at the price price of last three years where bitcoin usually have some sort of major pump in the value after the first quarter of the year or the end of second quarter.

Of course, however, that would depend when. 13k might be possible within this very month of December. We're very close to the 12,000 dollar mark so my claim is very probable. The rumored forks (if still unconfirmed) will be just like the Bitcoin Gold hardfork. The community will not be shaken and will not cause any fuss in the market. Rest assured that all will end well.
