ok, i'll wait  Just hope my package arrives before 02/08/2013 because I wanted to create a 'birthday gift coin' with one of those aluminiums I ordered  But it's not a problem if I give him the coin on a later date. It's a close friend so I see him often I can post the Alu coins to you separately if you want - postage would be just 0.025 BTC... Hey dude, any updates from Mike? |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Any plans for a second round? I'd be interested in a few coins, especially when the 0.1s are available We can certainly do a second round once the first one is completed and once the 0.1 BTC coins are out - I suspect they will be very popular |

0.1 coins will be cool, but depends on the price...
The production cost to coin value will be higher I guess...
Probably 0.25 BTC for a 0.1 coin (without shipping and customs)

I think it doesn't really matter much. You received the coins, so for casascius everything is settled. I suppose he will not take responsability for a lost package when you send them out. You could off course ask him to wait a few days and when they don't arrive, ask him if he will not fund a certain coin. But I read somewhere that he funds every coin anyway. He doesn't want unfunded coins 'in the wild'... (funding at a later moment is purely for customs reasons) By the way... talking about customs... How much did you need to pay? |
