Really fun, you should do more.
My favorite is the "Is the Manipulator..."? I'd also like sources for fun reading. I've been doing a lot of back reading tonight.

Nice! I remember that timeline well, and the forum sentiment during the fall... Sounds quite familiar!

thanks I put some links but it's difficult to find all of them, if you find others I will edit the first post The first source you linked - that's about the time I first started mining. I realized when I came across the post from evorhees and remembered the text exactly, like dejavu, then looked to the date on the left, and it was August, right when I began getting into BTC again, permanently this time. Just took a while to get me mining and really on the ball. I like the economics and all the other discussions here for quite some time before jumping (to the forums). Finance proved a hurdle (of my own design, had I known then what I know now..). I hadn't had a PC in years either, so some months later I finally began working on that project. However, not being that well versed with BTC, and not thinking as a "primary" focus, but something I could do, I ended up with nVidia card. So once this PC was built (sometime early 2012), I began trying to mine with that, but the hashing was around 80MH at best. Fortunately the case was big - this proved useful later when I happened upon a random deal elsewhere for other cards. The CPU isn't bad, when mining LTC it gets around 40-50khash. It was a couple months later that I jumped into here, became a lot more fluent, nabbed some 5850s, open air rig and have been mining ever since! Only lately have I been having some issues.. mostly frustration. I have my rigs setup, and most days they are running. But I don't have the time or effort right now to devote to what would be at least 2-3 more ghash or scrypt.

Simply amazing. I remember holding all my coins tightly at $20, saying to myself "but but... why are they selling?!" Then $15, $10, $5... I did learn the hard way. At least I bought some at $4.

Wow, look at this post that was made @ $2. Traditional investments fail when the corporation is closed. Bitcoin will close when the last botminer and pool stops running. Not likely. Bitcoin is an idea that is too big to fail. Enjoy the second chance at becoming an early adopter.
And soon people will have a third chance.

Yes, the guy who said "bitcoin will rise again... like the phoenix" was right... Except it turns out to be more like the honey badger. (I'm thinking of the clip where the honey badger eats the poisonous snake, passes out for a few minutes, then regains consciousness and just starts eating the snake again) http://youtu.be/4r7wHMg5Yjg?t=2m18sFolks, take a lesson from the people who held all the way from $32 to $2. Don't be like Frozenlock
