Saudi Arabia is way too extreme. More like a non industrialized country African country that's not fully Muslim. Would a woman go to a public beach in the English speaking western world with no clothes on? No! And neither wolud a woman in Africa go swimming in a bikini. They go swimming naked because they don't have swimming clothes but they know that wearing something like a bikini would be pointless. Wearing a bikini would just be an excuse for people to look.

OP obviously came from a place where the norm is to cover up everything and if that's what they want then fine.

However even if the norm in the West is just like that, women would still not get raped if they wear skimpy outfit. If it's illegal and grounds for indecent exposure, they'd just go to jail. Rape is not accepted as a way for keeping people in line or as punishment for offenses (as I've heard do happen in Afghanistan, one member even posted a thread about it).

Rapists should not only be sent to jail but if they rape they should be sentenced to death instantly. I for one would not be sad one day to see the world without these people and perhaps the consequence of death will slow them down in their tracks.
