Author Topic: Bitpay Merchant account giving me a $0/per day limit  (Read 114 times)

I just created a bitpay merchant account to accept bitcoin payments and I received an email saying I exceeded my daily limit of $0.00. Right now I am not able to accept payments.

I verified the account and filled in all the required settings but can't seem to resolve this.

Anyone else ever experience this problem?

Are you sure that you've passed app stepes of verification? Your ID pics, your bills, nudes etc... Those KYC bullshit is getting harder those days. I'm pretty sure your problem is about it. Otherwise there also might be some restrictions about your country.

Yeah, there is zero chance that you actually got through any (or finished for that matter) the KYC stuff in order to go ahead with buying Bitcoin with them. We all know it sucks, but I wouldn't blame the company when it comes to KYC regulations. As these are regulations which are imposed by governments to track who is doing what, as they're nosy and they want to know what's going on.

I'd reconfirm with them with their customer support if you actually finished it. Send some screenshots of the limits page.

Its quiet odd that you did directly have a limit which isn't actually a limit since its $0.00 which you don't even tried out to make transactions.I would like to know if they do send some email regarding on your verification?I do suspect this is a problem on verification which there are certain regions or countries which isn't whitelisted. The best thing to do now is to contact their support on what happened because no one on this forum would able to give you the precise thing that do happen into you.
