Well, he did predict the price will go to 5,000$ by the end of this year, it ended up going till 16,700$ and this year isn't over yet. Any guy wouldn't bet his dick for a speculation unless and until he has like done research for so much time. Well if one bitcoin will be worth 1 million,then this world will be introduced to more and more new wealthy elites.

Even if he believes in it, I think making this kind of wager is extreme. There are multiple other ways to emphasize your confidence.
$1 Million does look extreme. He has revised his prediction of $500K by 2020 to $1 million by 2020. And he has done this based on Bitcoin's strong rally in 2017.

He has really been an ardent believer of bitcoin right from the onset and his predictions have been out of this world. However, I guess we will just have to wait and see if he ends up right or wrong. 2020 is just by the corner, but even if he is looking at the trends and the way things are, that sounds pretty insane, but not like if it happens, no one will be happy.

There is no doubt that he exaggerates on his claims but at the same time, bitcoin opponents exaggerate their claims all the time too, so I do not see anything wrong with leveling the playing field a little bit, besides even if that price is unrealistic and it is obvious he is never going to make good that bet we know for certain that the price of bitcoin is in fact going to be great by that date.

He is not going to fulfill that bet but at the same time there are ways for bitcoin to reach that price, one way that could happen is if there is a huge economic crisis and the governments of the world begin to print money in order to keep the economy going but this is going to cause hyperinflation, it is difficult to imagine such an scenario but a currency can inflate very fast in a matter of years or months.

I agree with the group here, but I do wonder how many new people will seek out BTC because they heard his prediction and only know of him and the antivirus guy! Now that said, I sure would not mind ... lol, still have a couple BTC I paid $50 for. That would be one hell of an ROI.

It is almost impossible that his prediction comes true unless there is a huge crisis around the world and that the central banks fulfill the promise they have been doing for a long time that they are not going to let the world enter a depression so they are going to begin to pump a huge amount of dollars in the economy, when that happens bitcoin maybe worth 1 million in that time frame.

I do hope too, even though my mind stated otherwise.  but just to be sure, i think I have to keep at least 1 BTC until 2021.  If he is right I will be a millionaire if not, well at least I still have 1 BTC.

Looking at the adoption rate, the price fluctuation and the acceptance.. it is near to impossilbe for Bitcoin to reach 1 million by 2020.  Logical observation said bitcoin price at $50k  is more possible.
